Again, Moore sees starting pitching as ?the currency of the game? and the Royals don?t have anyone better than Greinke. He?s the $100 bill of the Royals rotation. Plus, he?s still a couple of years away from free agency and finally seems comfortable in KC. Oh, there is also the part about him finally showing signs of developing into a front-line starter.
Trade? The Royals need to be talking to his representatives about signing an extension.

OK........One of the best Fastballs in baseball and when he learns how to pitch, Greinke will be a beast......And how can you be overrated when you haven't done shit but have a nervous breakdown and miss a couple of years.....If Greinke went to the Yanks, he would AUTOMATICALLY become the Yanks NUMBER ONE STARTER......

NYM have the pieces, but they wont run for another SP. I actually wouldnt mind seeing the Os make a play for him, but im not sure that our management doesnt feel like we've got enough arms in our system that will be ready in a few years already. Arrieta/Tillman/Erbe may all be nice, but Arrieta is the only #1 possibility imo. Who do you think would be a nice suiter for his services? STL has a few nice pieces, although they drop of greatly after the first couple.

Not as familiar with other teams farm systems as I would need to be to make that an educated opinion. But there are a lot of teams that could use him. He was lethal out of the pen last year as a set up guy if a team needs him in that role potentially as well for a short time. The guys that are more likely to be moved and really be able to help someone down the stretch this year are Grudz and the ever solid Ron Mahay.

grudz will definitely be shipped, but he could be had by many teams. Not all that many teams have the pieces to get Greinke and he is probably the most intriguing name that's said to be on the market. Not often you see a pitcher that talented, young, and with no health concerns, that is available.
