Nats are shaky when rested,now they go from a night game to a day game with travel in between,lets face it they stink and if the phillies knew how to field a ground ball,they would have lost last night.If I had to play this game which I don't,Greeks idea is the best.

i can't play the nationals today, especially after a night game and flying into chitown in the middle of the night w/a day game on tap
can't play the cubs either, but the
last time the cubs lost a home game vs a lefthanded starter was back in may.
they are 24-11 vs lefthanded starters ty & 12-2 at home.

the national's need to go 15-19 the rest of the way to finish 60-102
of those 34 games left, they only have 10 games against teams with losing records (sd/atl)
IF the worst hitting team in the nl wins 60 games ty, it will be quite an accomplishment... considering their remaining schedule and 'aaa' roster.
going to see some -400 lines in sept when they play the mets and phils.

That's what people thought yesterday, with a much better pitcher on the mound for the Cubs. But the AAA Nats might just start another 12 game losing streak. They were slightly competitive losing by 1 and winning by 1 in that 3 game series on road vs. Philly, meaning if you took the +1 1/2 you would have done very well. But as stated above, the travel for this game, the fast turnaround and the exhale after ending a disgraceful losing streak is at best a no play. But who knows my worst two teams are here, the Nats and the Cubs. What would the opposite play be?

I don't like the overs. Yesterday 4 of the 5 runs were empty base HRs. And the Nats get shutout every other game it seems. So it looks like an under, which means they will score 15.
