Sadly, because of my job, I can't be tied to anything illegal...so I don't know if I could even collect the winnings.

What state do you live in? There is no federal law prohibiting you from placing a wager - and only a couple of states consider it a crime - so I would say with certainty it is legal for you to place a wager

No kidding, Seymour. I've lost a ton in my IRA and 401K - bout the only thing worth a crap are the growth funds (brandywine and large cap) and some bond funds. It's a frightening time for investors.

I haven't logged in the last three days - it's just depressing - even when there is a 500 point rally it sells off within a week - I have bonds - they barely keep me afloat for what I lose in the mutuals
