D-back trends are mostly negative; however, I just don?t see the Padres sweeping them.
Diamondbacks are 4-1 in Johnsons last 5 road starts.
D-backs: It was an outing much like several others in 2008 for the Big Unit the last time out. Poor defense behind him and a lack of run support foiled the 44-year-old left-hander in his bid for career win No. 295. Johnson allowed just one earned run, but still could not pick up the win against the Marlins. If he were to join the 300-wins club in 2008, he likely will have to win the remainder of his starts. Against the Padres, Johnson is 2-1 this season.
Padres are 8-20 in their last 28 home games.
Padres are 7-19 in their last 26 home games vs. a left-handed starter.
Padres are 1-4 in Baeks last 5 starts.
Padres are 0-6 in Baeks last 6 home starts.

Marlins are 1-4 in their last 5 vs. a team with a losing record.
Marlins are 3-13 in their last 16 when their opponent allows 5 runs or more in their previous game.
Marlins are 2-8 in Johnsons last 10 starts when their opponent allows 5 runs or more in their previous game.
Most Atlanta trends are negative. I?m going strictly on Hampton.
Braves are 14-2 in Hamptons last 16 home starts.
Braves are 5-1 in Hamptons last 6 home starts vs. a team with a winning record.
Braves are 24-9 in Hamptons last 33 starts.

Most Dodger trends are negative, but they?re just so much better than the Nats that I?m gonna play ?em. Also, in the past they?ve played very well whenever Maddux pitched for them.
Dodgers: In his first start since returning to the Dodgers, Maddux cruised through his first three on Friday in Philadelphia, facing the minimum while throwing just 23 pitches. Then he struggled, yielding seven runs on nine hits and completing 5 2/3 innings, the knockout blow being Chris Coste's three-run homer after Ryan Howard took him deep earlier. Maddux had been pitching great in August for San Diego before being traded to Los Angeles, compiling a 2-1 record and a 1.89 ERA in three quality starts.
Nationals are 15-36 in their last 51 overall.
Nationals are 1-6 in their last 7 home games.
Nationals are 2-5 in Reddings last 7 starts.

Twins are 4-1 in Perkins' last 5 starts.
Mariners are 6-15 in their last 21 games vs. a left-handed starter.
