never wanted to, mods are just paid posters with edit options, there's very little difference and i ve talked with Ken about this many times...

....no mod is being hired because they are good at refereeing the internet, you can count on that.

And those ex mods who scoff about paid posters are wondering WTF happened to their 'philosophy' in Cricketville.

General was old school. All he did was say hi. mo is new school. Sticks his neck out on occasion to get chopped off. He's involved in posting and gets into it.

Too many old school mods that do nothing except read every post and wait for that one post per week to get moved.

I'm not saying who should go but Quebb and sportsgirl are the types that should be mods. They like the site and they add to it.

Here's an example of good moderating. One guy was out of line. Hoffa says to the guy, look your crossing the line here. The guy does it again. Hoffa says I warned you, no more.

It's the perfect way to handle it. If the guy crossed the line again the post may have been moved, the guy may have to be on zap or banned.

AA, Raiders has it on lock down. No chance. I still haven't figured out why "project manager" is the title, but I don't run this place.

A good mod would be someone who can actually cap and can help a newbie learn this hobby, so he doesn't have to just tail but actually cap himself at some point.
