Klitchko-Rahman was on HBO. While it was horribly 1 sided Klitchko jabbed Rahman's head in and stopped him. It wasn't a hugfest.

As for UFC it has some nice fights on paper but I am not sure how great they will be in the ring. Silva-Jackson should be good but I don't know about the rest.

I am excited for it. I am either going to buy it or go out to a bar and watch it. I have to see if I can find some friends to come over. I think Mike Massenzio might be worth a bet. Also very interested in the silva rampage fight. Trying to figure out if rampage is ready for this fight. Evans might be worth a shot too but i do like griffin a lot.

Can't imagine paying for ufc or boxing fights. None are good enough to pay for to see on tv imo. I'd much go out and have fun for less money, or watch any football/basketball games on tv.

griffin/evans might be a decent fight though.

LL-Rahman were horrible? Why do you hate upsets and brutal KO's? Also, no, the point is while Wlad-Rahman was a shitty fight it was just on HBO, not PPV. There was very little holding as well. Educate yourself and watch some great fights like Vasquez-Marquez I,II and III before talking shit. There's plenty of very good fights on people are just to stupid to watch them. Anyways didn't mean to hijack this thread but some dipshit had already done that. it cracks me up how some people want to hate on 1 form of fighting while kissing the ass of another. Personally I like both. Of course it don't come off that way because people are always bashing boxing.

Like i said, it's unexciting when people don't punch. Throwing weak jabs and holding all match is 0 fun.

In UFC they actually fight, so i like that much more. Like i said, most of the time in disappointed getting boxing ppvs. UFC i haven't had that problem. It's cool u like boxing, that's fine. I'm a UFC kinda guy :)

As a fan of both sports i have been bored to tears with a lot of ufc fight cards. It goes both ways and there is no contest when u have a great 12 round boxing match to a three round ufc fight. Mir/Nog and Rashard/Griffin have the potential to be very boring fights. Now Rampage and Vandy will bring it and honestly title or no title, this should be the headliner but will probably be the third to the last fight, which is a mistake in my opinion because after this fight the last two will seem even more boring. The most exciting fights in the UFC are the slug fest aka boxing. Not the hugging each other on the ground or holding each other against the cage.

I will assume you have a better feeds than I do (like the type that are posted here and justin.tv, for example) because all of the (illegal) feeds I've seen to these events are pretty unstable. It's a cat and mouse chase get a working feed before it gets shut down/pulled.

That would be ridiculous to have people over the watch the fight with your laptop connected to your TV and every ten minutes have to hurry and find a new link because your feed freezes. :doh1:LMAO

I made it pretty clear in my post that I like both. :doh1 The UFC does some stuff pretty well that boxing used to but not anymore. The UFC makes decent cards and don't just depend on 1 fight. Usually if a boring fighter like Sean Sherk is fighting there will be some other action fighters on the card. Something you seem to ignore is that YES there are some boring UFC fighters as well. Rashad Evans for example has had some DREADFULL fights. Good fighter but he can be boring as fuck. It's easy to just make stupid general statements but they aren't always true.

Agreed, can't wait for Silva-Jackson. :+excited- There's some potential stinkers on the card though hopefully it don't end up that way.

Watch the weigh-in. Silva looked to be in wayyy better shape than Rampage. Don't forget, Silva and Nog have been training together, along with coaches from Xtreme Couture. Rampage on the other hand, has filmed 3 movies as of late, and has had a lot of personal problems since the summer, including his arrest.

tito is the most boring UFC guy i saw. And he's way overrated on top of it. Yeah, some guys aren't as fun that just use ground game. I saw sherk when he was on roids about a year ago and he was exciting. Maybe he's not anymore? I'm not sure.

I haven't seen many on evans, he was decent from what i've seen. I haven't seen many boring fights in ufc. Boxing tops that category by far , from my experiences.

Ah yeah, makes sense there. No matter what rampage looks like i'm always worried vs him lol

Well , i don;t watch UFC every week or get ALL the pay per views. Yeah, i like the ufc matches where they do stand up and slug each other.
