I took Bolt far and away. Worlds fastest man in the Olympics in an ungodly times. Also the 200 WR as well. Bolt and it is not close for me.

yup, phelps. Frankly, no one else on this list even comes close. That kind of year I guess.

I love Bolt, his performance was otherworldly. You can just see he's an absolute freak with his long gait, he looks like he's not even trying hard.

Bolt and Woods would be my #1 and 2 with phelps likely after them at 3.

Why is brett favre on this list? He's not even a top 20 QB in the game, maybe not top 25..i really don't understand people's love for him, he really did cost the Jets their season and Mangini his job. With Pennington the Jets make the playoffs, with Favre they choke, yet apparently that's enough to make the pro bowl and be a choice for athlete of the year. Just imagine what would happen if he actually played WELL this year...
