Tiger or the Field?

I can make this bet with a bud and I am taking the field. Have to give some good odds but 7+ months off. If he wins his 1st one back give him another notch as the greatest ever.

Re: Tiger or the Field?

I agree take the field here. Some things to consider....
? If Tiger makes it to the final Sunday and every match goes exactly 18 holes, he would play 126 holes in five days after not playing on the PGA Tour in 254 days.
? If Tiger makes it to Sunday, he could walk about 31.2 miles in five days (a normal 72-hole PGA event walking distance is roughly 16 miles). The weekend matches alone would make up 17.8 miles of this distance. This length is only the course yardage; it does not include the mileage walked from green to tee or any lateral mileage added from errant shots.

But keep in mind Tiger is a 3 time winner of the Match play event.
I think he is teeing off Wednesday at 2 pm eastern.
Nice to watch some golf again.

Tiger is like 5-1 .....

its like having Jennifer Anniston offering me Oral Sex ...

probably not gonna happen again in this lifetime

Take him .... you won't get 5-1 in this lifetime

Tuckman has the Field ???

Load up on Tiger as Tuckman's last wager he won was on Nixon resigning

And yet the field in the first day loses Sergio Garcia, Mike Weir, Retief Goosen, Padraig Harrington and some other quality names. Tiger looked to be in very good form. The Tiger bet looks a little better today than it did yesterday. Mickelson himself takes a 4 stroke lead with four to go and loses it to Angel Cabrera but manages to win the 19th hole.

Re: Tiger or the Field?

Tiger dropped to 3-1

he was icing his knee last nite

I dont think he wins only because as great as he is I don't think he 100%
and wont be probably for another yr based on Medical experts

WHICH MEANS ..... HE ROUTS THE FIELD AS "HOT" AS I CAN GET !!!

Tiger is a once in a lifetime golfer .... would love to see him get paired with the kid out of Europe called McElroy???
