Was wondering how long it takes you to go thru a card the size of todays, a typical friday card. What time do you start and how many hours a day do you say you put into betting sports? This your only job?
As for poker, online I would assume? What is the story behind all that? How long you been playing and do you well enough with it for it too be worth your time or do you just do it to pass the time? Hear the online games are so tough t beat nowadays just wondering how that is going, you have losing months in that? Which is better for you sports or poker?

Not sure what you want me to do. This my what I do for a living and I am smart enough to try and learn and improve everyday at it, as I know how hard this game is too beat.
I am pretty sure I wouldn't have moved from my home of my whole life, quitting my career job, leaving all mine and my wife's friends and family behind, to move half way across the united states to live in las vegas, if I was losing. The fact I haven't proved to you by posting a winning thread is the very last thing i am concerned with in all this, believe me.

I have never ever tracked my plays because what I do/did is something I have explained a million times, I play the Pinny lean. In fact I have said it in here a few times already. There would be no reason at all for anyone to want or to see that type information as they can't use it all, so what would be the point for me to have posted this type thread in the past?
In the past I have never bragged about winning a game after the game is over. I only tried to help others and show them how to win using some of the methods I used along the way. I figured they could gain a lot more from me from that then me saying I like Chicago's defense, etc. I explained my methods and reasoning I used to make my selections and it was all based on the Pinny lean, whihc I have said a million time and there many people that will vouge for that and have learned plenty from it.
(If it makes you feel any better, I did post the Knicks under tonight in this thread and I am probably 4-1 or so here so far but who cares either way, coupled with 2 contests in town I have placed and won money in this year, the last being the CBB regular season contest where I finished 5th at Leroy's sportsbook).

Yeah Gyno, we get it your having a good basketball season and if we don't know that it's posted all over this fourm (and 3 more forums) for us to see, everyday. You mention it a million times. A whole 75 games, which for most that do this at a real level is about a weekends worth of games.

I did ask for opinions, lol.
We have closing lines being overrated and someone said Iceman is overrated. Mofome is rightfully contesting the latter. I think ribs are overrated, much rather have a nice cut of meat. Minnesota is apparently overrated by me. Cleveland IS doing the things that CHAMPIONS do....Life is too short not to have a good time. maybe we will be privileged with a drive-by from Kodiak next.
Denver shot at a high% last game and is on a B2B. Looks like a ton of people are out for GS. I may come back the other way and also take the under. I like Phoenix getting 9. I may have a short day today. Friends are in town, I am tired, weather is beautiful and will be in the 100's all too quickly. It is important to take breaks from time to time. I find that after spending a huge amount of time looking at games that I develop a little bit of tunnel vision, things are not as clear as when I take a bit of a break and come back. To me a break can be just a few hours. I haven't looked at too much yet, but I don't really like the matchups today all that much. I am losing hand over fist with anything involving Milwaukee. I don't see how Detroit should be laying much of anything on the road at this point and time but had to expect much out of Washington. Washington was about the same to Charlotte (a better team right now) so the -5.5 is telling me the books kind of like Detroit here. Not sure if I even want to look at the Clippers.
Denver -12 for .4%

Lots of big mismatches today. Not sure if this is a sign of things to come as it seems that teams motivation levels are a lot different this time of the year. Looks like the linesmaker is really adding this factor into the equation.
Almost bet Washington also, not sure Pistons should be road favorites against anyone these days but game flew downard so there went that for now.
I played under 207.5 Charlotte (last night) and am looking to pull the trigger on under in Portland game later. Not sure I like any sides today (which for me is probably a good thing, LOL) but if i had to choose one today it would probably be Milwaukee.

Whoops, your right Munson forgot about mentioning Milwaukee in here, LOL.
Is it just me or does it seem like there are a handful of nearly double digit dogs like Pacers, Bucks, Suns going today that are what you would typically look like 10 point underdogs. These teams are within 5-10 season wins or so of the other opponent. Very close in talent. Aren't these spreads usually a point or two lower on average, more in the -5 range like the Charlotte/Philly game last night?
Maybe Bucks bad example with them playing last night but what about Suns, double revenge, playoff posistiong worth that much for the Jazz? I honestly don't think I am playing a side tonight.

I do not consider high totals my forte. I just don't see this going over the majority of the time. The teams just met, that usually lends itself to defensive adjustments and unders. Utah is playing very good basketball and I attribute much of that to getting their defensive players back.

I would be careful depending on the Heat to win by 9. Miami has won very few by that number at home this year and are not worthy of a number this high. I would be all over the Bucks since I see this more of a 6-7 pt spread, but Milwaukee is just leaking money. I don't want to warn you off a winner, but Miami is a team that Milwaukee has played tight in the past. I was real close to taking the Bucks, but like you said there are a lot of games tomorrow. You are not the only one not able to find many sides worth playing.

before I forget I want to add that it as much as people discuss who the public is on as far as favorites, it is much more profitable fading the public when they are on the underdog. The public is very bad at picking dogs and I almost never play a dog that I think the public is on at 60% or more. The public is also bad with unders.

passing on utah and GS 2nd halves. PHX is too dangerous to get cute and try to go under with on this 2h. 113 is not a big number for these two. I like Denver to go over in the 2h but instinct says pass. Denver shot over 55% in their last game and the first quarter was only 51 points. I liked Memphis/Portland to go under but passed at 191 hoping for something at the half. Public is on Portland in a big way so I will probably pass on it but if anyone has anything to add feel free. I put about 70% effort into today, what I use for almost the whole year on sides didn't have much on today's games.

debating whether I should further my beliefs in Sac/Phx going under.
I am taking Phil over. either 184 or 185 I imagine it would move, I don't really care about half points that are not whole numbers. I like Indiana to go over but unless I get something like 207 will probably pass. need to re-eval Dallas/Cleveland, but I think Dallas covers and if that happens there is a strong correlation to the over, IMO and so might parlay that. probably going to just go with Minnesota and not the over, public is on the over and I hate having to depend on high school teams for one wager, much less two.

Thoughts on Atlanta (I found a +4.5)?
Pretty early game for west coast Lakers, who don't need this game at all, have had a fantastic road trip and may just be asleep behind the wheel. Atlanta loses a lot to the big boys but probably takes this one a little more serious?

love Atlanta. I just took the under instead. LA on 5th game of road trip. Atlanta needs a win after dropping two in a row (SA, Cle) and has a very strong HC. LA has been rolling over creampuffs and hasn't really played anyone in the last couple of weeks (Chicago is a little above avg, IMO). The public may drive this line to 5 in some spots. I have this more like pk to -2, and I really think Atlanta has a good shot at winning SU.
