Notice the smiles and chuckles among those observing the shameful spectacle,maybe they discussed before hand whether the POTUS would actually do something subservient like this,and were sharing the inside joke when it did happen.

this "issue" is blown way out of proportion as usual as Barack has Diplomacy
skills which puts him 2 up on Crawfords version of Otis Campbell who couldn't even spell Diplomacy

Respect? To bow to this Saudi king is what the lowly peasants would do, not the leader of the free world. The deep head and bended-knee bow of submission was embarrassing. Maybe this piece of shit was showing his muslim faith and then a bow would be understandable.

"This issue" is not major,but symbolic of how important it is to kow-tow to the major supplier of the lifeblood of our economy.
Do American representatives supplicate before any other countries leaders like this?
Bush gets too much credit/blame for the current downfall of America.
He was chosen to be a frontman/fall guy for the real powers behind the office.America's chosen policy direction went much deeper,and way beyond Bush's capacity.
There's various long-term[longer than the last 8 years] structural crisis happening which together account for the current troubles.With a different prior administration things could have've been managed in other ways,but a decline in American systems was inevitable.
President Obama maybe more polished/diplomatic than the prior buffon,but how does that counteract things like peak-oil,and the contradictions becoming ever more present in finance capital,which are difficult to overcome.
