I think we came to the conclusion that a very low R/V ratio is not good and indicative of manipulation most likely. A very high one is also not ideal as well. With a little research we can likely establish optimal parameters or even a median ratio.​


I guess I should've read the thread....lol......I think if you are going to create a formula to evaluate R/V ratio, you should incorporate reply # and view # instead of a flat %.

FWIW, the best thread ever (IMO) has 382,262 views (as of right now) and only 1,893 replies

What we can glean from this discussion:

A) The R/V is a useful tool for evaluating threads.

B) R/V should fall between certain parameters else raising red flags.

C) R/V numbers can be easily manipulated.

D) R/V ratio should not be used as a stand-alone tool but in conjuction with the more traditional replies and views tools.
