Very close call...I have it frozen right now. Tag applied to left arm at about the exact same time right leg touches the base (missed the base with his left leg or easily safe)...probably have to call that one safe by inches though.

Yeah looked like a horrific call to me as well...that is why I rewound and slow motioned it. Pretty bang bang but I've always been under the impression that tie goes to the runner and the ump was right on top of the play. Too close of a call to say out.
