You have probably asked the most important question there is about betting at the moment. :thumbsup

I can only tell you from my perspective which is someone who spends at least 8 hours a Day on line betting, that has every conceivable account and betting knowledge of 40 years. While its got easier to bet a good price on your selection, trying to get an impossible price has now gone on the Exchanges.

The problem with Sports Forums are everyone wants to post that they are sharp and win money, but I know thats bollocks. I win money because I've been doing it for years and know the nonsense that goes on in Sports betting.

I posted a thread about Matchbook a couple of weeks ago and got lambasted. The truth is, nobody on the exchanges are going to lay you a bad price, so its a all about opinions. Just for Soccer on a weekend I spend probably 6-8 hours, by that time (usually Wednesday morning) i know what the real prices should be, what the average odds across the globe are and what the sharper Books are betting. No one critera is correct but armed with this information you can play the Exchanges and Books to your advantage.

By hook or by crook, doing this will win cash, but it has to be equalled with time spent on line. If thats your life then time on line is not a problem but Personally I havbe found, anything that takes me out of the house is a problem. :cheers

Yes and no. If you have enough accounts and like me, betting is your only hobby then with all my accounts its a matter of what the best move is. Sometimes I waste 3 hours making $2 on an Arb, another time I make $200 for nothing in no time.

I do find myself in Sports that I dont know, like Baseball, betting more on the line movement than the actuall result, EG I'm more likely to predict the movement than the actual result, certainly I find this is a better way of betting emotionally.:cheers

Win I have a notebook I keep things written down on. Things I dont want to forget. This will go in, very valuable information. When you have more than an hour to spend it would be nice on a short clinic on taking advantages of some of the exchanges.

I'm pissed with wankers who know zero about real betting quoting shit like Kelly and EV bets, sharp middling and betting against the public. None of these work in the real World, thats why these wankers dont post any plays, just talk highbrow shit.

The point I'm trying to put across is to the many readers that dont post is, betting is a tough if not impossible game to make pay, but that doesnt mean that with smart strategies the losses can be whittled down to zero.

Dont believe the shit that you can make betting pay. I make betting pay but it comes a a cost, endless hours in front of the PC, its now 03.44 GMT and I'm up solidifiying a $50 scalp on a premiership game, watching a $250 loss on cincy under and a $300 win on the Detriot Under, endless bets on exchanges that are not going to move, roving for rouge prices etc etc etc etc etc and all at 03.49 am

You Pepole will be snoring happly tomorrow morning while I will be crackin the Exchanges for any mortsel available. Bed at 04.00 am Up at 09.00am doesnt sound like a good proposition but thats what you have to do to make the game pay, anyone who tells you different is a lying wanker. :cheers
