I guess Adam is the 'most likely winner' but this Kris Allen has a new nickname that i've given him. Bulletproof. He's bulletproof Kris Allen.
Last night they had this 'meet the hometown' segment. Kris is a perfect 'presidential candidate'. He's from a small southern town, he has a close nit family, he's got boy next door looks, he's married, he has an emotional dad who loves his kid. They showed the dad hugging Kris really hard and crying because he was so proud of him. People came out to see Kris as a true hometown hero in this segment.
Meanwhile, back at the ranch, Adam had none of that. They never talked about his family, We don't really even know if he has a mom or dad. Adam's visit to his 'hometown' of San Diego wasn't nearly as emotional as what Kris showed to America. Adam went to a High School because San Diego isn't the type of place where people are goin to come out to see him, which means Adam had to 'go to them'.
Also, its somewhat likely that Kris will grab a large share of Danny's votes. Kris and Danny are simliarly religious and family oriented. People who voted for Danny are more likely to vote for Kris considering that everyone thought this was going to be a Danny-Adam final.
I'm not saying go out and Bet ON Kris, but if you are betting on Adam looking for 'free money' well, i'd be concerned and i wouldn't lay 2 or 3 dollars to find out. Be careful, i'm thinking there are better -250 shots out there than this. (in fact i know there are, i have at least one coming up in the NHL that i'll let you in on when it comes around.)
