How it Works<o:p></o:p>

The object is to accumulate Points. We call them LSD (Legal Sports Dollars). Legal Sports will send you a check for $100.00 each time you get to 50,000 Points.
Points can be earned in the SportsBook or Horses (RaceBook). Points earned in the Casino and/or with Parlays are not eligible towards your 50,000 Points.
Legal Sports does not permit players to wager real money nor do we accept deposits. Balances in players' accounts have no monetary value.
All accounts have an original balance of 10,000 LSD and a Bet Limit per wager of 1,000 LSD.
What happens when I lose my original balance of 10,000 LSD? Simple ? Just send us an Email to support@LegalSports.com. Legal Sports will reload your
account with a fresh 10,000 LSD.
You will then have a new start towards your goal of 50,000 Points.
Reloaded accounts will have their prior losses purged from their LSD account. This means you really do get a new start.<o:p></o:p>

Tim Wallach's Father is a close friend of mine. Watched Timmy from his days at Cal State Fullerton and through his MLB career.
Tim passed on an offer by the Angels during his Junior year. Cal State Fullerton won the CWS, the next season, and Tim earned the MVP.

Just so I read this clearly, "Legal Sports will send you a check for $100.00 each time you get to 50,000 Points." Meaning I can win the $100, you start me back at $10k and I get to try to work my way back to 50k as many times as I would like?

Actually Joey,
We are using the 6 dime cap to protect from parlay plays that we might not see.

Note:
Points earned in the Casino and/or with Parlays are not eligible towards your 50,000 Points.

The reason for the no parlay rule:
Some folks will come in and play nothing but 6 team dog parlays (As an example)

The problem created here is that a player could make numerous 6 team parlays a day. And then just request a 10,000 fresh start reload when they run out of bullets.

Suggestion:
Maybe we should change the rule to allow 2 team parlays with full payouts.

So was this a legalsports sponsored contest from the very beginning? Starting to appear that way.. $2000 to get a bunch of signups and their name out to the forums. Not bad advertising.

i dont get it..do you pay players who get points to encourage them to keep going to your site daily? and that generates traffic for the sponsors you have? is that how you make some money?

I dont get your business model .

one thing I was wondering about is I have a few guys who like to gamble mostly on football....so they call me with "give me $20 on this or that"...Im polite and just say sure..I hardly ever put those plays in or even stop to write them down, ..then they tell me at some point They are up $100 or down $55 or whatever...They track it themselves...I just tell them get the closing lines form scoresandodds.com as their number....But with this web site..I could just have them put in the plays here at this site, keep track of their accounts at this on line site...then pay them a "dinner" if they win....or get paid a "dinner" if they lose....

would that work?

Try if you get a chance shoot legal a pm as I am sure he can arrange something on the site so that you could do that. Thats a pretty good idea when you think of it try.

You are basically running a free pph service, correct? I assume you have an advertising based biz model, but aren't you worried about the legality of it all?

Yes you are correct. We did this for the Forum Challenge.

I will always remember game one in Los Angeles.

We thought we were doing a good job with our pph (Plays per Hour)
Turns out that many of the players did a pps on us.
They put in their plays just before tip off, or (Plays per Second)

Our system was not prepared for a pps. And so we crashed.....

I am so sorry for the problems during game one.

We did our best to correct things after Game one. So, as you correctly questioned, we hope there will be no legal issues to deal with as a result.

Are people seriously trying this? I mean, this sounds like a fun site for the casual sports fan but I thought there were gamblers here? Maybe I was wrong. People trying to build up 50 units of fake bets to win $100? I know it is free, but aren't people betting real money anymore? Doesn't seem worth my time. Looks like a fun site though.
