i'm so nice i will give an explanation:

vince young is gifted and is looking SUPER SHARP AND SUPER FAST in preseason. this guy is fast as ever. and likes putting the ball in the endzone. has a chip on his shoulder and a point to prove.

patrick ramsey = nfl experience + loves to put up points .. also has a point to prove!!

titans defense = 3rd stringers are even good ... bills will have a very tough time scoring once their first unit is gone.. and even with the first unit good luck with a secondary consisting of harper, finnegan , hope and griffin!!!!! one of best secondarys in the league to take on buffalos only strength = receivers...

after the first quarter its clinical... our 2nd and 3rd stringers are just WAY too good for buffalo. this game is going to be a blowout, but i am so sure titans win that i am going to take the money line -150 to leave TONS of room for the uncertain.. (fumbles, kickoff return, interceptions etc)

lendale white has lost 30 lbs and is FAST AND STRONG, best shape of his life....

expect him and chris johnson to both get at least 5 carries and 10 carries between the two is more than enough to give the titans 7 points right there in the first quarter, thereby offsetting the only weakness [kerry collins]

titans also have a lot of quick and strong youngies, and overall just a way better team and bet starting from 1st all the way to 3rd string.


jeff fisher said they will make sure they are competitive all game long.

try telling vince young that this one doesnt matter...

as for picks, this is my one and only preseason play.

i am going to stick with what works and thats regular season. just couldnt pass this play...


all the so called 'experts ' have the titans at 10 wins this year...?

yet... every single aspect of their game has improved, ..SCARILY improved.


the defense is almost unreal [DAMN GOOD!!!!] kvb has gotten faster and stronger everybody is healthy the whole secondary is finally healthy SO MUCH TALENT all pro bowl calibre players at literally every single position. i honestly can hardly find signs of weaknesses in the first string defense at all.

the WR position is improved slightly and tight ends are excellent, running backs are best 1, 2 tandem in nfl or at least in the top 2 .

haynesworth misses like 6 to 7 games eveyr year anyway and they still win. and their draft picks were all amazing steals.

this team was 13-3 last year, and is JUST AS GOOD IF NOT MUCH BETTER!!!!....

this is a job fair for the raiders. from 3rd string qb [gradkowski vs frye] to center to fullback to linebacker to safety to you name it.

did these guys come this far only to not make the NFL cut?



second on the list:
the cowboys first string secondary is a depleted bunch tonight, and is more of a third string secondary. which means their third stringers will be... 5th stringers? lol [thats just a joke]

raiders have solid qbs [that can be successful in preseason] from #1 to 4, and all of them should be able to put together a drive that scores points.

to anybody who buys into the fact that jamarcus is the 'undisputed heavyweight champion/#1 qb and thinks jeff garcia isnt going to secretly try to play extra good in any opportunity he gets to give himself a chance to be a starter this year - youve got something coming

dallas will run the ball most game, with barber, jones, choice for the first 3 quarters. look for the raiders to expect this. the question is, how many times can the boys break a big run in this one? if its less than 2, the raiders win. and even if its 2, if the raiders care about their position competitions [if the players want to see their names on an nfl regular season field], they will win this one.

if the raiders manage to lose this game [i highly doubt they lose], they will have a lot more problems on their hand than the 200 [2units] i am wagering on them...

dont worry about "streaks" whether they are hot or cold [you will hardly ever see me lose more than 2 games in any week during the regular season, if i pick say 6 per week[usually will post around 3 spreads a week , going minimum 2-1, and usually 3-0]. there will be times when i will love the card and max out 6 games and go 5-1 or 6-0.

God willing i will dominate this forum. i won PRO POOLS in 2006 [at the age of 20, bought my first car cash using that ] , and every year since 2005 there are at least 3 weeks where i BARELY missed winning pro pools again including one week where i went 15 of 16 and the winner who got 16 of 16 won 160 grand .

i am a structural engineer, but got bored of that [after 40000 dollars in tuition and God knows how many late nights at the library], and am now on the verge of becoming part of the police force.

was obsessed with sports particularly nfl and ncaa football as well as nba and mlb, since the age of around 4. used to spend 2-3 hours playing around with the antenna just to get a clear picture on my television for ABC and CBS to follow my fav football teams [which at the time were the florida gators(what ever happened to danny wuerful ), and the bufallo bills].

now i am a titans fan [since 1998] and a bills fan second .

i make my picks entirely myself, dont care for or need any advice [except from my friends on this board] and am confident that i am one of the best nfl cappers in the continent. i am 23, however not intimidated by anybody who is even 60 years old and claims they can cap nfl better than me. that being said, i am not arrogant, and love the people at this board [super loyaly towards peopel who posted in the baseball forum, because i tailed you and made lots of money].

only learned the potential in sportsbooks and the art of professional gambling halfway through last nfl season. did not even know how to wager in a sportsbook until then. I was a pro-line/pointspread legend in my neighbourhood for the last 4 years. 10-15 guys used to wait until 12:40 when i walked up in the convenience store and would all be giving me high fives for the money ive made them [which really actually put even more pressure on me].


was taking a look at playoff scenarios and schedules and successfully predicted san diego to make the playoffs last year, 4 weeks prior to the playoffs [most self-heart warming / feel good prediction i have ever made].

one day i got sick of constantly going 4-1 or 5-1 or 7-1 on pointspreads and wanted to figure out a way i could bet heavily on my favorite games so that losing one game wouldnt make me lose my entire card [damn you pointspread for scamming thousands of amaterus in the country]. that is how i ended up learning the game.

other interesting facts:

-ranked #34 in the world in MADDEN NFL 2004 playstation 2 online [WITHOUT CHEATING!] : had every single play in every single playbook memorized, and a hand written play chart of defensive schemes to counter every single teams primary formations and how to audible to put myself ina position for interceptions and positive situations. retired after 2004.[no more time for games after grade 12]

-was about to try out for qb for my uni football team, but decided against it as engineering was taking up too much time.

-strong knowlege of all nfl playbooks, schemes , formations

- i do not drink alcohol but like to smoke up every now and then, generally on NFL sundays at gametime. helps me zone in to every little detail in every single play.




what i am trying to accomplish:
now in my second year of professional gambling, i will make a statement. eog will be my base from where i will construct my super soldiers. i thought about working out of sbr since there are a lot of hits there, but my loyalty lies here thanks to the people who helped make my bankroll and that is that. I do however have an account there made a couple days ago registered under "4TH AND STUPID" , BUT i will only post plays at eog. i will never sell picks ever in my life as that is against my consceince and religious beliefs [hypocritical, maybe]. i will make no other claims other than: follow me consistently and you will win, and win BIG.

i have no system, no magical robot helping me out, no connections to the locker room. [although i know doug flutie lol]. i am just incredible at handicapping nfl. i also secretly believe i have a gift, but i am religious and believe that if you are thankful to God for putting you on this planet and giving you the wisdom to take advantage of the books just as businessmen take advantage of the stock market, then you will be well off.

Good start, but let's face it. Tennessee was very lucky to win against Buffalo. They needed a trick play to do it. They still have an offense that is questionable at best, and a defense that has lost more than it gained. I saw absolutely nothing from Tennessee that would indicate that they are going to be vying with Houston for 2nd Place in the AFC South.

I saw absolutely nothing from Tennessee that would indicate that they are going to be vying with Houston for 2nd Place in the AFC South.

just because espn doesnt do a pregame special on them, and jessica simpson isnt in the stands, and tony romo isnt the franchise poster boy, doesnt mean that the titans arent Serious superbowl contenders.


with all due respect to indy and houston, if you think that the titans are going to finish 3rd in their division, well then, you are in for quite the surprise.. .

philadelphia eagles @ indianapolis colts


fact: indy's first team is going to play " 1 quarter/ approximately 20 reps" -coach[aug 19] . so basically, indys points will all come in the first half, or more specifically the first quarter. dont think that the eagles defense is a slouch crew either..but expect some points for indy at last. they want to see "improvement" , and surely they will see SOME improvement.

fact: donovan mcnabb is set to play the entire first half, with only 2 qbs to play in this game. the first unit, as a whole , will play the entire first half.. they will find a way to put some points on the board. possible enough to offset the colts 1st quarter surge.

fact: aj feely will play the entire second half, and he is an experienced nfl starter who will be playing against 3rd stringers. is he motivated? hell yes. this is the nfl and with vick and mcnabb, feely has to make sure he keeps himself on HI GUYS IM HERE TOO radar with anther good performance. motivation aside, hes a good player and will find a way into the endzone.

1st quarter advantage: colts [peyton wants to get the ball in the endzone once]
2nd quarter advantage: eagles
3rd quarter advanteage: eagles
4th quarter advantage: eagles

this game simply comes down to depth at quarterback and the fact that indy has a new little offensive thing going on which will disrupt their flow a little bit. and after the 1st stringers are out, philly should be able to bring in the money. put your money on aj feely and the eagles to pull away in the second half. with mcnabb and feely splitting the pie at a half a piece, you cant go wrong (unless you lose:+textinb3) ...just kidding

well my "play of the week" was a lean that i had toward tennessee based on the titans plan to play vy with the 1st team earlier in the week, but then when i discovered that jeff fisher went back on his comments, completely changed his approach, had absolutely no game plan and was planning on playing man to man with second stringers to find out who is capable of man coverage and experimenting most of the game, i jumped out the window for the titans bet and decided to keep my money.

and thank God i did. if anything i was thining about taking dallas but i didnt want to go against my boys


some of these preseason games are really tricky because coaches say one thing earlier in the week and then change every thing up on gameday.

as for the cricket bets, the champions trophy in cricket is coming up in late september. stay tuned for that, as it is a money making machine for us any time there are world tournaments involving all the top teams. i will post all my plays for that in the baseball forum. follow along late september and we'll clean out the books and run.:cheers

Pre-season games are a waste of time and energy. Other than for a drink, they are not worth playing. Your time is better spent preparing for the regular season and college football. So far, the drink score is V.O. 5, Smirnoff 2. I have won 5 drinks and lost 2. That is what the preseason is worth. My preseason plays are based SOLELY on previous W-L records on that particular week. I have 9 other wagers. (We drink a lot). That is what the pre-season is worth. That is how much work I put into it. I would say, about 3 1/2 minutes worth of work.

sometimes in preseason, there are players who have their career on the line. then sometimes, there are 2 significant players [QB/RB] with their career on the line. if you can spot 3 major players with their career on the line, its worth a play.

its all about whos more hungry.. the hungrier guy will eat the pie, and it is our job to eat the leftovers.

analyse depth charts, coaches reports. find out who is playing to as accurate an extent as possible. the reality is, most coaches know who is going to win the game before the game starts. if we can figure out what is going on inside a coaches head, we can make money. i disagree that its a waste of time. if anything, its more rewarding if the time is put into the research.

that being said, yes its more difficult to cap preseason due to [as stated above] , the coaches being the only one knowing who will play exactly how long. but they give hints and we must take.

you were on the right side on this one, but unfortunately one team just gave up after half time while the other is treating it like a regular season playoff clinching game.

Yes, i am writing this as Baltimore leads 21-17 but i CANNOT SEE ANY POSSIBLE WAY that Baltimore wins this game. NY actually really cares about winning this game, Baltimore CANNOT GAIN A YARD without TURNING THE BALL OVER.

I hope you secretly played them at the half instead too...

agreed. pathetic showing by troy yesterday. tough loss but as long as i cap the games correctly i'll take a loss here or there. God willing, this +7.5 will multiply like flies around a dead skunk. john morrison and his followers can suck me off. one thing i can guarantee is that i know what i am doing. and thats an understatement. dont blink. and thanks for the support so far its appreciated.
