i wanted the phils/angels really. dont like the dodgers, dont like the phills, hate the yanks.

angels are a good story and id rather not have the yankees ridiculous spending reinforced.

I really thought this was the Dodgers series......if you look at all the 'real'
baseball numbers from BP and others the Dodgers are the better team
however when one of the better set-up men and closers and can't hold
a lead in a 'must' win game you don't deserve to advance...
(yes I had the Blue Crew huge yesterday...)

I'm sorry that Heim lost a bundle yesterday, but I felt from the start that the defending Phillies were the better team and the more battle tested team. I was a bit puzzled about why many people I spoke to before the series thought LA would win. My original prediction was a Yankees - Cardinals WS though.
As a side note, I've been rooting for the Phils simply because I want Manny out of the playoffs. I don't want that deal the Dodgers did to get him to be justified. Too bad I hate the Red Sox; otherwise I would have been rooting for Jason Bay to win the WS while Manny stays home.

LA vs LA would suck. I think the best series is what we're going to get, Phillies vs Yankees. Dodgers vs Yankees would be bad because Yankees would blow the Dodgers away.
