here are the rosters from last year
kinger, think outside the box big guy!
I would take -200 odds on LeBron/Kobe winning it this year again and anyone else can have the rest of the field. Just really no chance unless one of these guys gets hurt and the other struggles a bit.
Howard is a guy I can see maybe winning it, but unless he starts averaging 25/15 and he gets Orlando to push for a 1 seed I don't see it. LeBron will average 30 pts, 7 ast, 7 reb. How can you not give the MVP award to those numbers??
Hard to argue with the Kobe/Lebron talk..
I love Howard and think he will be in the mix.
I however, also think Durant CAN win this year. Kinger knows how much I hyped Howard last year and he had a big year. BUT, he still did not win it.
It's likely that Durant sets himself up this year for next year...
The way I see Durant winning this year is if OKC is a 6 seed or better and the Lakers and Cavs don't totally dominate the reg season because they are tryin' to stay fresh for the post-season, and thus, a star like Durant emerges and captures the award

That should be your last post in this thread. The Spurs are one of the main title contenders this year. Did you look at their off season additions?
