Station Casino's head guy, Artie Manteris opened PacMan an 8/5 favorite over Mayweather...the fight has to be fought before the end of 2010 or all bets will be refunded...the sharp guys bet the dog early....:cheers
wow pac as the favorite is insane. I would bet floyd up to -350. This fight won't be close
How much -350 do you want? I will take it all..:+textinb3

Considering they haven't even made the fight, you must be planning on unloading early and often.:+textinb3I will be broke if I can get + money on PBF.
Broke.

The article I read off the wire services said that several players bet 20k on Mayweather. It's a publicity stunt to the fullest.
The news can now claim he made the line on the fight.
A man who throws out anyone who he thinks is sharp is setting the opening line? What was the limit on the first bet?
Come on.
That is a fricken joke.
Good luck sir.

If floyd is the dog I would drop 60-70% percent of my bankroll on him without thinking twice.
I would think that was impossible.
Just an opinion, but knowing Art like I do I highly doubt he would let anyone bet that much UNLESS he was forced to by upper management.
Who knows maybe a high roller wanted to bet the fight and upper management forced him to make a line knowing the person wanted to bet Pacman.
I agree with the rest who said they would bet PBF in a minute at that price. So that in itself gives me a ton of doubt on Art taking that much on any bet with odds that are way off.
But I really don't think that Art opened a wager and took that much on it.
That would be a first!
Good luck

Art was scared of his own shadow when at the Hilton...20,000 just doesn't sound right....especially with the fiscal troubles at Station Casinos...
I had a friend that bet a limit bet on a hockey game at the Hilton when that scumbag was there and it came across about an hour later that the starting goalie was out.
Well Art came out and told him if he didn't give back the ticket he would 86 him from the sports book. Art tossed everyone like the pussy he was/is.
The only thing Art Manteris could be credited for is being the first chicken shit bookmaker who just tossed anyone who could beat him or beat the moves.
