Well Purdue is being treated like a one many team by the sportsbooks and experts and everyone is overreacting to one game. This is not the same Siena teams that people are talking about, and winning 1 tournament game in 10 years certainly doesn't make you dangerous.

Purdue -4 is free money tomorrow folks. Johnson is more important in this game than Hummel. Don't overreact because of one game folks.

Purdue is my biggest play of the 1st round, Northern Iowa was my second biggest.

Agreed with Purdue game completely, glad to see a Big 10 guy with the same thinking as me. People had Murray State and Siena as their two sexy underdog picks for this tourney, but these are completely different teams/games.

As for your other picks, Oakland is the only one I like, I'm against you on all others.

Mammon, I like Temple this year but the A-10 is overrated and Cornell knows how to keep it close. I probably like Temple more than every other A-10 team, but this is just such a bad match up for them.

Cornell was the class of the conference, regardless of a few games here and there. They were way better than everyone in the conference. I have looked at this game for a few days and we just simply don't agree.

Hummell was the 2nd, and arguably the 3rd, best player on this team. People loved Hummell because he could go off, but in reality he disappeared in plenty of games that Purdue dominated.

They aren't a 1 seed with out Robbie, but they certainly aren't 8 seeds worse. Purdue laid an egg in their conference tournament, and I'd be shocked if they laid another one.

Me and you definitely don't see eye to eye on this but it's no biggie because everyone has their views. I think they were the best team in the tournament with Hummell, but I have liked this team for 3 years so I'm slightly bias. We'll never know, but I still think this team makes some noise.

GL FW. Not sure what you see in this Siena team.

Siena lost to Temple, St. Johns, Tech, Northern Iowa and at Butler but we think they can beat Purdue? Those are the only decent teams they have played this year and they lost every single game.

Some thoughts on Siena:

Return 7 of the top 9 players including 4 of 5 starters that upset Ohio State last year in Dayton, OHIO and then gave the overall number one seed all they wanted including playing even in the 2nd half before losing by 7.

Expected more from them out of conference but 17-1 in conference was about what you would expect. Invaluable tourney experience last season.

Painter has never lose in the 1st round, since he's been at Purdue and Purdue is better than the teams that beat Siena. Siena looked good in the first half, but it's easy to look good when the other team shoots 10% from three.
