For the 2010 NFL season EOG will be hosting a suicide pool. The object of the contest will be to pick the "loser" each week. This contest is free to enter and when picking the "loser" it is a s/u play.

The rules will be simple. Each week the goal will be to pick one team to "lose" and if the team loses you will advance to the next week, however if the team wins you will be eliminated. Once again the play is based on a s/u pick not by pointspread. The contest starts week 1 of the NFL season and will continue until week 17 or until the last man/woman standing which will determine the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place standings.

In the event of a tie for 1st, 2nd or 3rd place a tie breaker game will be decided. The game in question is which the poster will predict the total number of net yards for that game. The poster with the closest to the total net yards for the game will win.

Requirements: Minimum 50 posts at time of entry.
One account per person. Multiple accounts will be disqualified.
You must have a Betphoenix account to particpate.

The same team cannot be picked more than once by a poster during the contest.

In order to win full prize amounts you must have wagered $200.00 in real money during the month of September at Betphoenix. If you do not meet this requirement then you will only be eligible for 25% of the prize money.

1st Place- $1,500 Free Play At Betphoenix with 6x rollover
2nd Place- $1,000 Free Play At Betphoenix with 6x rollover
3rd Place- $500 Free Play At Betphoenix with 6x rollover

* Any player caught using multiple accounts will be disqualified from the contest, banned from EOG, and forfeit all contest winnings


A seperate thread will be created each week in the contest and bragging rights forum where participants can enter their selections for the week. The contest closes after the first week so that no new particpants enter.


Deadline to enter plays for the weekend is 1:00 pm eastern on Sunday.


If you fail to make a selection you cannot save yourself and select a team on Monday you have not used.


Contest closes at kickoff of first NFL Sunday Game 1:00 PM Eastern, early game on Thursday will not close the contest early. After contest closes it does not rep-open for new particpants.​
