On the bright side, the nurse that was there the night I ended up with a meat thermometer in my leg wasn't around...

That's what she said when she saw it...

That was also the night I almost committed a felony of punching a police officer.

They had a blanket over my legs and he brushed against me (knocking into the thermometer...)

I had my fist drawn back, husband grabbed it, cop glared at me, I flipped the blanket back his face went white.

I don't know what they gave me when they went to remove it, but damn I wish I would have had some of that stuff when I was in labor...

Left it on the top of the fridge after I used it so that the kids wouldn't get it.

Knocked it off the top of the fridge.

Squatted down to pick it up along with the other stuff I dropped and lost my balance.

Ended up with it in my lower leg.
