Sounds like the bean counters are tightening the reins on the gamble as revenue continues to erode from other profit centers
Las Vegas is suffering a death of a 1,000 little cuts
Due to the poor management, these places have been losing money for years. They overreacted trying to cater to the luxury market and now while Las Vegas wants to serve up caviar and expensive champagne, visitors are looking for the days of the 2-1 coupon on the $9.99 dinner buffet.
The bean counters are tightening and tightening. The cocktail servers arent as many, the bathrooms don't get cleaned as often, hotel fees keep going up, the games and slots are tightened and tightened, etc etc etc on it goes.
Vegas seems a bit iffy to me. Jobs seem to be very limited. Cost of living/ home values would offer great value. It should be a great overall value.....I just don't really want to go back there. I want something new and different for my last few decades ( ?) on Earth...
Vegas= been there, done that !
Why did Cornhead leave Vegas for Tampa and spend like 10 years there ? explain , Jeff !
I'm glad you like it FH.
Are you planning to rent or buy a home now that you're there ?
San Diego more like Oceanside appeals much more to me, but is much more expensive.
