Hopefully UNLV learned a valuable lesson with the Bobby Hauck experiment, to wit,
a good coach is worthless without the athletes.....time to go back to the John
Robinson experiment and bring a recognizable name in from So. Cal and get that
recruiting trail from L.A opened up again.

Robinson was an old man looking for a payday.
He hustled the school for the position of athletic director so he could make more money.
His wife then complained about attending the basketball games.

You missed the point.......he was worthless at SC too. Marv Goux was the real
coach.....However you need some name recognition at Vegas especially one with
connections to So. Cal. Robinson brought Jason Thomas in from SC and
Compton.....Hauck could never get a player like that.
P.S. I met Robinson's wife a while back at a Rams function.....she was way
too hot for Jolly Ol' John.

Bobby Hauck had no chance to field even an average team this year with his collection of freshmen and sophmores. He's in an impossible situation. I like him as a coach and no matter what he does he will always be a huge upgrade over Mike Sanford. He needs time and better facilities but UNLV will always be a basketball school first and Livengood brought in the right man with David Rice.
