its not just this match. officiating has been terrible all tournament. both players getting very pissed about it here. would be even worse if the chair umpire didnt save the lines officials with some overrules

No, there's no advantage to serving first really. Just a case of Novak looking like he would roll through this match going into the 4th, and going into the 5th Nadal had momentum and Novak was looking tired
