181 players were playing at the time of the jackpot...one of the many reasons I like to play poker at the Station Casinos..additionally, they have high hand jackpots and a separate in house bad beat jackpot

You do realize that this costs you additional rake, right?

With all the hours I played at Station Casinos, I never got a whiff of any jackpot....Back in the 80's and 90's, only the table involved got paid....I also used to deal poker at the Palace Station (was called Bingo Palace at the time)

Re: Bad beat jackpot hit at one of The Station Casinos

Are those pay outs right?

How does a 113K jackpot only pay out that much? Out here the 'loser' gets 50%, 'winner' gets 25%,and tables splits 25%. ut if they took 50K out for the two hands and 369 tot he other 8 (assuming 10 player table), thats less than 55K they paid out. Where did the other 60K go?

Unless they pay the whole room and that is dumb. I have had two bad beat 'loser' sidwes and a few 'winner' sides here and they were really nice. Had a doen or so table shares too. Grinding low blind NO limit is was a great way to score some nice hits a few years ago.

it adds up..30 k loser of the hand, 20k to winner of the hand and ALL players playing at ALL properties split the rest(183 playersx$349=$63, 867)

every pokerroom has their own rules regarding bad beat jackpots...usually it is just paid out to the table where it hits..In this case, it not only wasn't at my table, it wasn't hit at the casino I was at :houra

I really like that stations promotion. Giving a piece to ALL players playing at their tables easily pays in itself of the promotion. Limit games are always filled up on Friday and Saturday for this promo.

Nothing like sitting in a $4/8 limit game and playing it like it's a 5cent/10cent game. Piss people off with reraises and run downs and then when you are dragging the pot you tell them "hey I thought you were bluffing" and watch the steam come from both ears.

Love this game.

Re: Bad beat jackpot hit at one of The Station Casinos

good job and congrats Jake...they "love" locals...I think it was 4 fours beaten by a Str8 flush Jack high...read about it in the paper...

Keep up the good work Jake...

I'm down...in terms of bang for your buck, Orleans has some really good structured tournies for $75 no rebuys decent starting stack and long blind levels, they also only take like $8 out of the buyin..this tourney will last 4 or 5 hours possibly longer if you play to the end...if you want a lower buyin tourney that ends quicker I can look into that as well..I know that dump Joker's Wild on Boulder has a decent low buyin tourney that only takes a couple of hours..
