Just met coach gene keady in my lobby

Ive Seen him in my building a few times over the last month but did not place him
Apparently he is friendly with an elder woman renting in my condo.
He referred to himself as coach to my doorman and i immediately placed him.
Not what i would have expected, always deshevled and in st johns athletic wear
Spoke for a minute about tourney time

i always hated him as i am a badger fan and he was always crying and whining with his big ass comb over. they say he is a really nice guy though

I remember being around Gene Keady when he was coaching Hutchinson JC in the early 70s, and was an asst for Eddie Sutton at Arkansas(he recruited the "triplets") after that. Great guy! He is 75+ years old and is still sharp as a tack. Also, he is one of the toughest mofos you will ever run across.
