NBA CLEVELAND CAVALIERS ?4.5 (Tue., 4/25, 7:00 ET) ? The Cavaliers lost the last three regular season meetings with Washington, but the Cavs were able to turn it on when they had to with a relatively easy 97-86 win in Game 1. LeBron James recorded a triple-double in his first playoff game ever, and we look for him and his teammates to once again exploit the weak Washington defense. Now the Wizards are capable of blowing anybody away offensively on any given night, but they have one of the weakest defenses among all playoff teams, and like they say DEFENSE wins championships. We look for a virtual carbon copy of the series opener here with Cleveland posting another handy victory.

NBA PACERS/NETS UNDER 176.5 (Tue., 4/25, 8:00 ET) ? The Nets defense must have missed its wake-up call on Sunday as the Pacers led 30-24 at the end of just one quarter. However, both defenses tightened up the rest of the way while both offenses struggled, especially from the perimeter, and the game ended up barely going OVER the total of 175 in a 90-88 Indiana upset. Now that they have lost home court advantage, we look for the Nets to come out with more intensity right from the get-go tonight. They did do a good job on Jermaine O?Neal on Sunday, but the Pacers got unexpected contribution from their fringe players. We do not see that happening again tonight, which should translate to a very low-scoring game and a rather safe UNDER.

NBA KINGS/SPURS UNDER 185 ***PLAY OF THE DAY*** (Tue., 4/25, 9:30 ET) ? The Spurs exploded for 73 points in the first half of their 122-88 romp on Saturday, but we expect a different type of game this evening. That contest was an aberration as both of these teams were solid UNDER clubs down the stretch, and we do not expect San Antonio to duplicate that first half performance here. Granted the Kings will miss the suspended Ron Artest, as he is one of the very best defenders in the NBA. However, the entire Kings team improved defensively after his arrival, and we feel that the rest of the Sacramento club is now capable of picking up the slack, especially for just one game. The UNDER was 13-7, 65.0 percent in the last 20 Kings regular season road games, and the absence of Artest actually gives us some nice value at this number. The Spurs are always an excellent UNDER club at home and this season was no exception, as the UNDER was 25-14-1, 64.1 percent in this building, with the Spurs allowing just 87.1 points per game in those contests. Also, that Game 1 explosion notwithstanding, the UNDER is still 13-7, 65.0 percent in the last 20 San Antonio home playoff games with an average combined total score in those games of just 178.3 points!

The Predators scored four power play goals in their 4-3 win in Game 1, but San Jose stopped taking silly penalties in Game 2 and the end result was a 3-0 Sharks victory. We anticipate another low-scoring contest here tonight given that the UNDER was a perfect 4-0 in all of the regular season meetings between these clubs with NONE of those contests exceeding five goals!

Game: Chicago White Sox at Seattle Mariners Apr 25 2006 10:05PM
Prediction: Chicago White Sox
Reason: Stats are through April 23. The White Sox are 8-1 in their last nine games. The Mariners 1-5 in their last six games. The White Sox are 86-45 as a favorite of -110 or higher over the last two seasons. The Mariners are 131-185 in games played on a grass field over the last three seasons. Look for a solid performance from Vazquez and a sub-par performance from Pineiro.

Don?t miss another MLB pick from Ken A.

Scott Spreitzer
Game: Minnesota Twins at Kansas City Royals Apr 25 2006 8:10PM
Prediction: Kansas City Royals
Reason: I'm backing the KC Royals on Tuesday. Not exactly the words you'll read from my desktop too often this season, but we have a very strong dichotomy in this spot. The Twins are a horrible 1-6 on the road against righties, averaging just over 4.1 RPG. In fact, they're just 1-8 away from the Dome overall. Meanwhile, the Royals are a healthy 4-1 at home against righties, sending 6.8 RPG across the plate. Overall, as bad as the Royals' start was, they are actually just 2.5 games behind the Twins. Minnesota will send Lohse to the hill tonight. He actually owns a poor 5.77 ERA at KC. The Royals will counter with Elarton. The right-hander owns the Twins with a lifetime 2.82 ERA, and his teams have won all 4 of his home starts against Minnesota, with a spectacular 1.65 ERA. Don't look now, but I expect the Royals to win their 3rd in a row, sending the Twins to their 5th straight defeat.

Game: Colorado Rockies at Philadelphia Phillies Apr 25 2006 7:05PM
Prediction: Philadelphia Phillies
Reason: Take the Phillies at 7:05 ET. Colorado comes in as a team that has been lousy on the road in the first half the last three seasons (22-60 in that time) and in their last seven they have scored just 3.6 runs per game. They will send Miguel Asencio to the mound, and he's a journeyman with an unimpressive record (0-2, 4.70 ERA at Colorado Springs; 6-8, 5.14 in MLB). The Phillies counter with Gavin Floyd, who has gone six innings in his last two starts (both Phillie wins). Phillies pick up a win here behind the youngster Floyd.
Enjoy this Member Pick from the Legend, Lenny Del Genio!

John Ryan
Game: Pittsburgh Pirates at St Louis Cardinals Apr 25 2006 8:10PM
Prediction: under
Reason: Ai simulator 3-star graded play UNDER Pirates/Cardinals - AiS shows an 80% probability that both teams will NOT score 4 or more runs in this game. Here is a system that has produced a record of 42-16 and has made 25.1 units in profits since 1997. Play under road teams where the total is 9 to 9.5 allowing 5.3 or more runs/game on the season (NL) against opponent good team, outscoring opponents by 0.5 or more runs/game on the season. Supporting this graded play is the fact that SANTOS is 14-3 UNDER (+10.8 Units) when playing against a good team (Win Pct. 54% to 62%) over the last 3 seasons. (Team's Record) SUPPAN is 11-2 UNDER (+8.9 Units) vs. an NL team with an on base percentage .325 or worse over the last 2 seasons. (Team's Record)
Ryan's AiS has identified a 5* MONSTER that also ranks among the TOP-50 plays ever produced by his proven AiS neural net. Pay only when this total wins!

Tom Freese
Game: Baltimore Orioles at Toronto Blue Jays Apr 25 2006 7:05PM
Prediction: Toronto Blue Jays
Reason: Baltimore starter Rodrigo Lopez is 2-9 with a 7.94 ERA in 11 career team starts against Toronto. Lopez has a 11.99 ERA in his last 5 starts at Toronto. The Blue Jays Gustavo Chacin is off to a great start going 3-0 out of the gate. PLAY ON TORONTO - (Chacin vs. Lopez)

Tom Freese has 3* HUGE PLAYS on Tuesday. They include a 10* 'TOTAL' from the NBA Playoffs that is in 4 AWESOME ANGLES. He has a 22-8 SYSTEM 4* 'TOTAL' from the NHL Playoffs and a 4* 'TOTAL' from MLB that is backed by AWESOME PITCHING NUMBERS. DON'T MISS THEM!!!

Kevin O'Neill
Game: Baltimore Orioles at Toronto Blue Jays Apr 25 2006 7:05PM
Prediction: over
Reason: Two bad news pitchers. Lopez started twice in Toronto last year and and allowed 15 hits and 11 runs in less than 10 innings. Jays' Chacin in horrible form as he has 7 walks to only 5 strikeousts with 4 HR allowed in his last 2 starts. We like the setting here as Only 3 of 10 games played at the Rogers Center have gone Under the posted total this season. It was another easy winner last night for Kevin O?Neill?s totals team as the Tigers/Angels under was never in doubt. The over/under specialists have another best bet in Tuesday night action. You?ll play with confidence after reading the statistical analysis that makes this one a best bet. Get it right now.

Larry Ness
Game: Baltimore Orioles at Toronto Blue Jays Apr 25 2006 7:05PM
Prediction: Toronto Blue Jays
Reason: The Orioles opened last week by winning four of five games (scored 38 runs) but closed it with back-to-back losses to the Yankees, scoring just a single run in each loss. The Blue Jays will start Gustavo Chacin, who despite an ERA of 5.60, has opened by going 3-0. It helps when one gets 24 runs of support and he should get more of the same tonight, as Baltimore's Rodrigo Lopez owns an ERA of 7.20 in his four starts this year. More good news comes Toronto's way in the fact that Lopez owns a 7.38 ERA against the Blue Jays, with Toronto beating Baltimore in NINE of the 11 starts Lopez has made in his career against the Blue Jays. Go with Toronto.

Game: Atlanta Braves at Milwaukee Brewers Apr 25 2006 8:05PM
Prediction: Atlanta Braves
Reason: The Braves are 17-4 as a favorite after a one run loss for a net profit of $1140 and the Brewers are 1-9 since after a one run win and it is not the first game of a series for a net profit of $800 when playing against. Take ATLANTA!
The PhD scientists have a bottle of champagne that they bought a couple of years ago when they decided to beat major league baseball. Robert Ross
Game: Indiana Pacers at New Jersey Nets Apr 25 2006 8:05PM
Prediction: New Jersey Nets
Reason: Nets have a habit of losing the first game of a playoff series. They don't always bounce back but did so in 2002, beating the Pacers in five games after a Game 1, first-round loss at home. Look for better games from Carter and Kidd and less intensity from the Pacers who already got the split they came for. Take New Jersey!

Tom Scott
Game: Washington Wizards at Cleveland Cavaliers Apr 25 2006 7:05PM
Prediction: Washington Wizards
Reason: WASHINGTON over Cleveland by 5

The Cavs had their way with the Wizards in the opening game of the playoffs but we look for a different result here. Washington scored just 87 points in that opening loss, just the 13th time this season the Wizards were held to under 90. Note that Washington scored an average of 100 ppg following the previous 12 sub-90 games and that Cleveland is a paltry 2-19 ATS as home chalk when allowing 100 or more points. Nice 28-11 angle on the Wizards cements this play.

PREDICTION: WASHINGTON 106 - Cleveland 101
TOM SCOTT'S SUPER SYSTEM SHOCKER!
Tom Scott ran his three-year NBA Playoff record on this site to 29-8 with San Antonio and the Lakers over the weekend. This game fits FOUR of his best angles (137-47 ATS) and has a superb trio of team trends to back up the systems. Tom is COOKIN'. Get this winner for just $33. No Win - No Pay!

Jimmy The Moose
Game: Sacramento Kings at San Antonio Spurs Apr 25 2006 9:35PM
Prediction: San Antonio Spurs
Reason: With their best defender in the lineup the Kings lost 122-88 in Game 1 and Artest will now be sitting out Game 2. On the road the Kings allowed an average of 99.3 PPG while the Spurs play a smoldering D holding the opposition to 87.1 PPG at home. The Spurs are 16-7 ATS in their last 23 playoff games. At this time of the year the Spurs put it in another gear and you'll see that in full force tonight. Play on the Spurs -.
The Moose looks to rebound from a disappointing Monday Night by SMASHING THE BOOKS with his guaranteed NBA, NHL and MLB Selections. If you're looking to take the cash tonight join the Moose, it's COLLECTION TIME. As always you win or you don't pay!

MTI Sports
Game: Indiana Pacers at New Jersey Nets Apr 25 2006 8:05PM
Prediction: Indiana Pacers
Reason: This game should be very low scoring and seven points is huge in such a game. Take the points and the Pacers.
MTi Sports is RED-HOT in the NBA and in baseball. They won in both sports AGAIN last night. Jump on board and cash again tonight. GUARANTEED!!

Ben Burns
Game: Sacramento Kings at San Antonio Spurs Apr 25 2006 9:35PM
Prediction: under
Reason: The high score from Game 1, combined with the suspension to Artest, has helped tonight's over/under line climb higher than it would be normally. I feel that provides us with value on the Under. The Spurs may win big again but they aren't likely to score 122 points while doing so. In fact, the Under is 28-17 the last 45 times they were coming off a game in which they scored 105 or greater points, including a 8-5 mark in that situation this season. The Spurs have also seen the Under go 13-7 the last 20 times they were coming off three or more consecutive 'overs'. Look for the Spurs to deliver a dominant defensive effort as the Under improves to 27-15-1 here for the season. Take UNDER

Ben Burns failed to cash with his hockey or basketball picks on Monday but was a PERFECT 3-0 on the Diamond. Burns has isolated an EXTREME MISMATCH on Tuesday's card. Grab his AMERICAN LEAGUE GAME OF THE WEEK right now. Its got B-L-O-W-O-U-T written all over it. Don't miss out!

Rob Veno
Game: Indiana Pacers at New Jersey Nets Apr 25 2006 8:05PM
Prediction: New Jersey Nets
Reason: Desperation spot for favored New Jersey who shot just 1-15 from 3 pt range in series opener. Defense likely to tighten up here and NJN C Kristic showed he can be a force on both ends (Pacers pivot men just 17 total points). PG Kidd gets Nets off quickly here and defense does the rest as New Jersy wins by 10+.

In past years he has had some huge years in baskets as monitored by the sports monitor of Oklahoma City. This year he was not quite as good. His service is expensive but I think he picks alot more winners than losers.
