While at the airport hotel getting dinner, heading out tomorrow morning, at the table next to us was the officiating crew from today's Lions/Bears game. These guys were a riot. Every other word was an F bomb. They were very loud, having a good time. Were talking about some calls, they were ragging on Mike Pierra and Gene Saratore. The Dallas game was on right by them, they were all oblivious to the happenings in that game. In fact, totally ignored it. Very interesting to listen in, lol

They probably didn't like getting upstaged. With 28 penalties for 276 yards, the officials were the story in the Dallas game.

Beating the Lions by two is a bigger indictment of the Bears than the Lions. Watching the Lions self-destruct constantly and leaving their best player go down and you only win by 2? Nagy holds this team back so much, it’s scary.

Though it seemed Nagy managed the final 18-play drive well, much to the chagrin of Chicago supporters who "spotted the three" with the Bears.

Nothing hurts more than watching your favorite team self destruct year after year…felt that way about the Eagles until Andy Reid took over…

At this point, they should go 0-16-1. Make history again. 1 playoff win since 1957 and 2 winless seasons.

0-16
0-16-1

I'm guessing the odds of going winless are higher than winning a playoff game. Computer Bob. Guilty please confirm?

On its face, it is higher. Take every season for every team since 1957 and count # of winless vs playoff wins. Then it's a straight forward calculation. Spoiler alert. It's not even Tony Homo.

There's one hope for Detroit sports fans, and that the Tigers, they're going to be pretty good next year, take them Over their win total, and throw a little something on them to make the playoffs and to win the WS

Nagy is one notch above Adam Gase

Be honest, did you think Doug Pederson would win them a title when he got hired? Did you think Nick Foles had a chance of winning even one playoff game?

I think the public are just a bunch of blowhard idiots who haven't a clue what a good coach is. Lions and Bears fans acting like they know how to better run the team is pretty funny.

I was not in favor of the Pederson hire…but I loved the pick of Wentz in the draft….Pederson fell into a good situation…he inherited some nice players…and also had some good assistant coaches…
