General, You Are Wrong About Heritage's Owner

General,

I have read your posts about Heritage's owner...let me borrow some of your quotes about him:

"one of the nicest and caring guys in the business IMO"

"I have stated way back I wish Heritage was here. Some things have taken place which may hinder that but no matter the guy is class. 100%!"

"I had expressed my desire especially after meeting and hanging out with their owner in Costa Rica. He is a great guy and I not only wish them the best but also recommend them to our posters."

I was a player there for probably 8 years...NO ONE SHOULD SEND THEM A PENNY!

This morning, this "nice, caring, classy, great guy" :+peeing-5 all over me without having his facts straight and makes a 100% irrational decision. Not someone that I want holding my money...

Last night I used Heritage's "Double Down" coupon on the Charger play I had made there. I activated the coupon with customer service...they sent me to wagering and the clerk doubled my play on the Chargers.

This morning, I was told that the wagering clerk made a mistake...I would have needed another 600 in my account to use that coupon last night. The clerk that told me this... said that he wanted to "try and help me out"...I asked him not to...I was going to call Customer Service and see if I could use the coupon again... later in the season...well I guess because I was "buds" with this guy he decided to proceed and talk to the owner...

So I called Customer Service...and the supervisor was on the phone and they asked me to call back in 15 minutes...

During that time...the clerk spoke to the owner...on his on doing...

I call Customer Service back...they transfer me down to the clerk...he tells me the owner is really pissed and he is going to send me the 500 dollars and then close my account...:+clueless

Confused...I ask to speak with him...I am placed on hold...the clerk comes back and tells me that the owner will not talk to me...and that is his offer...he is going to send me the money and close my account...he is so pissed that he is finished with me...:hung ...the owner told the clerk that they have always been good to me and given me free plays etc...guess he did not realize this was a "two-way-street" and that I had been a really good customer for a very long time...yet he is making this F'd up decision without a clue...

So I exploded...the clerk said he was going to try and fix this...he understood things were a real mess...

I had not even asked Customer Service if I could re-use that coupon yet...

Here is this "classy, great guy" telling a long time customer he is closing his account... thru one of his employees...I could not understand WTF was going on here...

When I called back in...I was transferred to my long time bud Benny...he was going to listen to the tapes of all my conversations from this morning...Benny found that I was being treated this way for no reason...as I had not asked for anything...the tapes rang loud and clear...

Leaving Benny to apologize for his boss' irrational...clueless...classless...unprofessional behavior...

If this can happen to me...It can happen to anyone that plays at Heritage.

And your depiction of Heritage's owner is so far from the truth...that he must be one heck of a salesman to make you think he was this classy, caring, great guy.

Everyone has a bad day and there's usually two sides to every story. I've always found the man to be one of the most selfless, caring people around and even when they weren't on the radar I always spoke up for Heritage as I have heard nothing but good things about them and really admire they way they do customer service (This incident aside of course.).

I had a experience with them too, not a pleasant one. I went to lose about 2K in their casino, then went on a run and won some back, then had my limits cut to $500.

No explanation other than they don't like my actions......funny, a guy pissing away 2K in their casino, and they don't want my action.

bigbet...

That is interesting...they state that their casino is random...so I guess it is only random when a player is losing...then it is broken when the player wins...

A guy I met in Heritage's poker room lost 10,000 in there...he swore it was rigged...that's where I got the "random" thing...beause that is what they told him as they tossed him a $50 dollar free play.

While I agree with you on the "two sides" concept...

In my case...it is the "entire" story...there is no "other side"...

Over the years...I had never encountered something like this at Heritage...

They always treated me well...probably because I was a "good customer"...

Just from 8/31/06 alone I lost 7,400 there...maybe if I had lost more than that...this "classy" guy would not have :+peeing-5 on me this morning...for no reason...

Oh yeah...No apology either. Real classy and professional.

I went to the gas station today...paid $35 and tried to wash my windshield. Lo and behold, the washer thingie was missing. I was pissed. How dare they treat me like this. I've been coming here every week for years, never complaining, even when they started charging me a quarter to put air in my tires. First problem I have, the guy shits all over me. I say "Hey...where's the washer thingie?" The clerk says he doesn't know...use the one at the other pump.

I throw a fit. The flunkie clerk calls the boss. The boss tells flunkie to apologize and give me a free coke. Flunkie repeats the boss's words. I ask to speak to Boss; no luck. So screw it. If the Boss doesn't respect my money, I'll go elsewhere. Sure this place is right by my house, and the next gas station is 6 miles down the road. I have principles. I am a VIP, and the fuckers better treat me that way. I turn down the free coke, and drive 6 miles down the road to get my windshield cleaned. I think I taught them a lesson.

Nice attempt at an analogy...

Except I did not ask Heritage for shit. Never got the chance to ask if I could still use the double down coupon.

This thing took on a life of its own, because the owner...the guy that holds all the money..cannot make a rational decision, and is incapable of getting all the facts straight.

The other thing...the wagering clerk was the one that did this on his own accord...I asked him ...to not do anything.

I did not teach anyone a lesson...the owner taught me one.

I am also not a "VIP"...just never thought I would be treated like some POS troublemaker...

Would have been nice to just been treated like a regular customer...Because if that would have happened...I might have been able to ask if I could still use that coupon on another game...and this FNG mess would have been avoided...

Nice try.

You know what...

Maybe Heritage had a bad Sunday and Monday...

Considering all the posters they got from the RX to sign up...and then ACE ACE smokes 'em in the NFL...they may have gotten killed in Week 1...

Heck maybe some players let it all ride on the Vikings last night and made the beating worse.

Only thing I can say is - consider this. Everybody that bet on the Raiders used their "cancel the bet coupon at halftime. Everybody that bet on the Chargers played their double down coupon. This game cost them a bundle - but it was a promotion and they always knew that.

So, wtf, if you just had your arse sanded with #40 grit and sat in some Red Devil turpentine in the bath tub - you'd be crabby, too????
