I've become more like Squarepants via avoiding the distraction. There are plenty of haters and air bettors here. We know this for your 5 year contest, with a 10% being added bonus, drew far less than 20 players.

I've never had any of that, including contest prize money.
In the Survivor this week, the selection counts out past the Top 5 listed above all are equal to or less than 78 selections (Seahawks).
So, the only "oh the humanity" carnage today would come from the top 4, with the Jets game already played.

There is a substantial drop-off in the No Picks percentage of entries because of the increase in equity level (ofc the raw # also depends on # entries alive).
Last year only 1 "No Pick" after Week 10 (609 survivors, equity $38,349).
This year (equity $3,679), "No pick" % has dropped from 0.32% (45, Week 1) to 0.25% (22, Week 2) to 0.08% (3, Week 3). probably won't exceed 5 in any week going forward.
