Anyone need a roommate in Manhattan?

Just moved here and finding a place to live is a bitch. I simply won't pay a realtor $8000 to "find" me an apt and show it to me for 15 minutes. I plan to buy in a year or two, but for now, it's rental time. So if you by random chance have an extra room, preferably downtown, let me know!

WHY NOT LOOK IN BROOKLYN OR STATEN ISLAND.......PRICES ARE CHEAPER (FOR MORE) AND PUBLIC TRANS IS READILY AVAILABLE

PICK UP A COPY OF THE STATEN ISLAND ADVANCE......PLENTY OF HOUSES OR APARTMENTS TO RENT ARE LISTED DAILY........THE FERRY TAKES YOU RIGHT INTO LOWER MANHATTAN.......

Re: Anyone need a roommate in Manhattan?

Thanks Matt.

Regarding Brooklyn or Staten Island - I'm not a commuter - hate it. The rents in Manhattan do not bother me at all. It's just that I'm not willing to give a realtor $8000 for 20 minutes of his or her time... Hell I might take the damn exam so I can just rent myself a place.
