BFC - You did the right thing, but just admit that you were wrong.

Most top books would have just considered this an opinionated line and not a bad line. Not off by enough to be considered bad.

You did great by paying the player, but enough with the garbage that you had a right to cancel the play.

Re: BFC - You did the right thing, but just admit that you were wrong.

online players don't fuck around with bullshit lines.. you play with fire, you will get burned..

Agree. BFC posted an opinionated line and got buried on it. It was not a bad line per se, but definitely leaning toward one side (intentional, or not). The problem for them is they got buried on one side - large. Play with fire and get burned. A true online bookmaker, or just a bookie located offshore is an existential question for BFC right about now. Online players don't play nice and they bang "opinionated" lines like a worthless ass whore.

It was NOT an Opinionaited line. It was a COPIED LINE, when the line moved it did not get Re Copied. Many of these books have a false sense of entitlement as do the players. This was a situation of chickenshit players meeting a chickenshit book.

THE ONETHING THAT SURPRISED ME ABOUT THIS SITUATION SINCE LENNY FROM CASCADE IS INVOLVED WITH THIS SPORTSBOOK 2938u4ji23 I AM REALLY SURPRISED THEY DIDNT WATCH THE FIRST HALF JUST IN CASE DENVER DIDNT COVER THEN THEY COULD HAVE KEPT ALL THE MONEY AND CANCEL THE BETS AFTER THE FIRST HALF IF DENVER WON.

NO MATTER HOW YOU LOOK AT IT YOUR TAKING A HUGE RISK SENDING A D- RATED SPORTSBOOK LIKE BET FIRST CLASS A PENNY.THIS PLACE WILL NEVER MAKE IT TO FOOTBALL SEASON WITH A NIT WIT LIKE MIKE CALLING THE SHOTS AND A RAT BASTARD LIKE LENNY FROM CASCADE WORKING BEHIND THE SCENES WITH BET FIRST CLASS.

BET FIRST CLASS = LENNY FROM CASCADE (THAT EXPLAINS THE D- RATING)

How is -265/+305 not a bad line? Anyone seeing that and betting the -265 without questioning it needs an eye exam.

This is confirmed as I have personally viewed the wagering history. As far as what was or was not made clear last night, I have no control over as I was in an airplane and was not aware of the situation until this morning.

Good post Raiders. BFC fucked up and now they're trying to spin it on the player.

I still don't believe the line was -265/+305. They never mentioned it once. When Judge was asked about it at OGD he dodged the question the 1st few times. They never mentioned anyone scalping that line. Seems awfully fishy.

My gut tells me the book is full of shit.

Re: BFC - You did the right thing, but just admit that you were wrong.

As mentioned earlier, that line moved quite a bit during the day, and -265 1st half was the "right" line early on.

Now, the million dollar question is whether the -265 that the guy bet later in the day was a legit line or a bad line.

If the line stayed at -265/+225 during the day, and never moved in response to the market, then of course the -265 is a bettable line, even if the market has moved to -350/+300 or so. If BFC doesn't move the line in response to market conditions, then they have no one to blame but themselves.

However, if BFC moved the line during the day, then it's a different story. Let's say, for example, that BFC moved from -265/+225 to -300/+250 ... then later, they moved to -325/+275. After that, let's say that they meant to move to -365/+305, but instead posted -265/+305, then this line is a bad line ... it's a clerical error, the +305 line is higher than the -265 line, and the bet can be legitimately cancelled.

Which situation occured ? I guess only BFC knows for sure.
