thought they would on Philadelphia PArk race 9

6 Kelly's Silver listed at 2/5 morning line (but 2-1 with 5 min to post, will drop lots but nothing significant in show pools at all)

but the doubles are not crazy and early totes in exacts probables not like a normal 1/5 horse and jumper, keep watching
8 horse field might be just a touch too large for any jumpers

this false favorite looks like a nice play against int he Trifecta pools more I look at this race, im dropping her out totally

going TRI on 2,3,4,5/1-5,7,8/1-5,7,8

she ran pretty well looked like a horse trying to win, took a 3 wide press the pace approach entire way, then down to 2 , took an easy 2nd

best horse but was forced to run 3 wide the entire way due to the garbage #2 horse blocking the rail

so settled for second

There was a harness horse at Hawthorne recently that was listed at 7/2 on the racetrack's computer-generated morning line and closed at odds of 1/9.

Saw the harness action the past two days from the Illinois State Fair on the computer.

No money in the pools to make a real bet.

I was not able to play this afternoon. Checking results:

Monmouth r8 was 86%

none of the others featured jumping (the last two races pending, will update)

Final on the day. Of the nine M/Ls at 6/5 or lower, only two drew jumping action.

Monmouth r8 (86% of 79k) and CT r4 (75% of 28k)

Overseas there is no minimum payout so no incentive to jump

that not quite true yisman there is a minimum some its 2.20 however in England Ireland most places 2.04

Australia its 2.10 however so some reason to jump, esp on some rebates

but they canceled SHOW wagering on WINX.. that is a FIRST in horse racing history in an 11 horse field. that I know of. WTF they took down show wagering Australia B race 6

place jumping tonight however should still be big.

The more i watch these races it seems to me there is some sort of edge with these favorites, not sure if it is with win, place, or show or all three.

It seems (obviously i dont have any data to back this up) the knowledge/info is so good in regards to the favorites.

what time is the race in terms of EDT? It's in Sydney on Saturday so a few hours from now?

so only one North American jumper Friday, I believe, the Laurel race.

Winx would have been huge betting had there been show wagering.

Since there wasn't, our pools only had 15,582/20,183 in the place pool. 77% for Winx.
