that was a different type of show overlay, it was a rare true small overlay situation on that wonderful show price on Justify. fair value more like $2.30 or $2.20 there.

but you can be beated on these as well. In big races with huge pools you get lots of spread in Show money historically. Saxon Warrior had a very low win odds 4 to 5 or 3 to 5 as I recall. but the $ place was quote low in relation like Justify yesterday. (Place there is same as Show for us, top 3) in the recent Epson Derby largest race in the world for 3 year olds other then the KY derby some argue. anyway, big favorite, but not over bet to Place (show). bad trip and took of course 4th...argh...that one stung. BAD, that was a good pool to be in.



some real bridge jumping on huge favorites in smaller number of horses running, is also a small overlay even on the $2.10 or $2.20 but reward is low so its more of a grind. you need some rebate to make it worthwhile, and most kick you out if you do too many track minimum large wagers in negative pools.

took 2nd almost won but also was close to be 4th and was all out getting Beaten starting far turn. close call for Jumpers this horse looked terrible most of the way

the 1/9 claimed foul on the winner who drifted out pretty bad,

they were all wobbly.

not sure if this is worth a take down, but they do protect those 1/9 shots for the public who have the pick 5s

this time the money didn't show up until the race began

went from about 1400 to show on the favorite up to 8500

It was not a jumper in the end, having only about 66% of the pool.

Odd, as it was a 1/2 favorite in a 6 horse field.

I looked at the bridge jumping twitter today after reading an article about it and the guy who ran the account now works at woodbine (and has abandoned the account it seems) Someone needs to start a new account that would be useful imo

He never managed the account, really.

He started the feed in 2009 and never was involved in it.

He doesn't respond to messages. Very odd guy.

charles town race 2 looks like a JUMPER. #7 6/5 ML was already looking good but 2nd choice in race scratched and tiny field with 1 other horses that can hardly run.

each were heavy favorite over clear second choice

tonight mountaineer race 4 #5 will have a 1/5 favorite in a small field of 6 and show is allowed

I was busy with baseball so I couldn't monitor the pools on Woodbine r2.

It turned into a jumper.

The favorite had a horrible trip and barely hung on for third. Too bad for me, I had the #3 WPS (finished second).

Photo for third and jumpers were saved. Over 30,000 bet on the 1/5 chalk to show.
