PLAINS TWP. ? A city man was charged for cheating at blackjack at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs casino on Tuesday.


Abul Fazal Hussain, 56, of Second Street, was arraigned by District Judge David Barilla in Swoyersville on a single count of fraud. He was released on $2,500 bail.
State police gaming enforcement unit alleged Hussain attempted to add a $5 chip to his $10 bet after he learned he won a hand at blackjack, according to the criminal complaint.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled on Sept. 14 before District Judge Diana Malast in Plains Township.

don't even have 10 dollar tables here in Tampa.....

usually we would wait for it to become a felony like over 400 dollars or something to get a better case in my days on the casino floor....

That casino is 20 minutes from me. I witnessed a bj hand in which a dealer may or may not have overpaid a player next to me on match the dealer. Pitt boss comes over THREE hands later tells her the dealermade a mistake and she owes them five dollars. She was embarressed and shocked. She looked like she was about to cry. I told the pitt boss get lost and so did most of the players with me. He demanded the money. She gave it to him and walked off. What a joke. They complain because they pay the state of PA 55% tax or so they say.

I also watched a guy get ko'ed in the casino at a bj table. Black guy asked the dealer what the max bet is he said $500. He puts it out he is second from last to act. Black guy has twenty. Skinny white kid is last, dealer has a six showing and he has 15. Black guy asks him you know what to do right? He responds yes! HIT! Dealer gives him a ten he breaks. Dealer then makes 21. Black dude stood up and punched this guy in the face. The guy got carried out on a backboard. Black guy left in handcuffs.
