Fortuitous circumstances had lead certain pitchers to obtain wins that which they are not deserving. Now superb players have the ability to keep up the pace that allows them to stand out from the pack. With cheap wins, good fortune can not last for an entire season. Therefore we shall run an expirament. The top four in cheap wins will be faded from now until the end of the year.

Here they are

  • Wei Yen Chen Baltimore
  • Ed Jackson Cubs
  • Josh Collmenter Arizona
  • Jarred Cosart Astros

and

Cheap Wins are defined as when a pitcher gets a win even though his Game Score is under 50 for that particular performance.

The king of cheap wins looks to be Jamie Moyer. He had 58 of them in a career that gave up 522 homeruns.

0-1 with White Sox lost. Our fade had a game score of 39. Had he won it would have been another cheap win. Disappointing that the White Sox would lose in a slug fest.

Collmenter fade 0-1 -1.00 Units

He came up with a 69 but that was against the Cubs. Still a very good performance with him
