Just for the record there was some good news for Emilio today.

He got a letter from the Department of Veterans Affairs that I brought to him in the hospital.

It said:
"Your pension award received a cost of living adjustment. You new payment is now $540.00 up from $530.00."

Emilio is on 20%. They raised it to 30% with NO financial compensation from 20% a few years ago?

"We are considering your income of $0.00 from earnings. $8500.00 from SS based on $710.00 a month. $0.00 from retirement /annuity and $0.00 from other sources."
