Derby ones I've seen at STATIONS have been normally 30 cent lines if I remember right, -130/EV

Looked up and found these from 2 yrs ago

Yup.....that was one of the good things Avello did right at Wynn without wanting to see your room key. Naturally, I was
referring to the CD vig and -154 assuming each horse had a equal chance.

P.S. Do the hockey guys on here agree that COLORADO is the series pick assuming VGK advance?

Dink was talking on video about playing matchups so that is what I thought you were inquiring about.
WPS at Churchhill is around 17% I believe last I looked, making it around laying -141 if all equal. The -154 you mentioned is closer to exacta pool in Cali

Don’t think so.
BET365 has VGK @ +650 and COL @ +900 to win it all.

NYI presently +550 favs.

I personally like Bruins at +900.
They are built to win in the new current version (speed &skill) of NHL hockey.

Isn't there a 17.5% rake on match-ups now? In reality laying -154 on each side?

The takeout for Derby matchups this year at Churchill Downs is 17.5%.

Tsk tsk.

At the very least, Churchill should offer three-way props to avoid comparisons between their pricing and the takeouts of sports book operations like William Hill, Station Casinos and others.

That's what I thought. It's the same takeout as WPS, their lowest takeout if it's any consolation
to bettors. I assumed track odds everywhere but Joe pointed out a lower takeout in Vegas which
I would assume Dink will be betting.

Dink definitely mentions several times he played it but it was a small bet, etc. So, bet sizing must be a huge part of his analysis.
