EOG's like most forums with different levels.
The owners/management have an agenda to carry out, here it's to draw gamblers to the site,and lead them to the sponsors.Next are moderators who run the program,along with paid posters,who drum up interest,instigate,and influence other posters to create more content.If set up right a hardcore set of members will keep the site fresh and spend a lot of their free time doing so,this also creates a clique of regulars with thousands of posts who its hard to break into.
EOG's dominated by about 50 "power posters",and while loyalty's good it also leads to increasing suspicion,and ignoring of anyone outside the charmed circle[IOW a clusterfuck],without enough new views stagnation occurs,leading to repetition,boredom isolation,and a decline in metrics.
Ron we are just casual visitors here,not commited to this project in any serious life,or death way,like some of the obsessives are.EOG's going in a different direction now hoping to better monetize the site,no one's forced to follow.Deciding how much time and effort to invest,in return for what, might change your outlook on what you want.How much value's there really in posting on any particular online forum?How much traffic was drawn to your own website by posting bait here,was it worth doing?

I will leave as long as my logs show people want them but if not remove lot to see what happens... you cant remove that much content link wise without causing short term problems with search engines.

Looking at the results of your poll so far, this seems to be backfiring on you.

I am pretty sure we can handle the short term search engine changes as we are NOT a porn site and it will not upset us in the least if we take a hit in the porn search words.

Are you just not understanding what I am trying to say here?
