(Saturday at 8A PDT) Leicester City +127 (3-way line meaning they MUST Win)
I think we all saw what happened Saturday with the Leicester City owner and his Helicopter. Tragic doesn't even begin to describe how awful this was. EVERYONE LOVED HIM! Leicester was supposed to play Tuesday in some competition similar to Hoosiers - where teams compete to see who is the best in England (Slight difference - not worth getting into it here). Obviously that game was Postponed. Really, it didn't matter because no one of importance was going to play in it anyway. Saturday is their first game after the crash. They will come out 1 of 2 ways: Despondent and dejected over his death OR come out trying to "Win One for the Gipper." I think it will be the latter. The team they are playing - Cardiff - is pitiful. They can't score and they can't keep the ball out of their net - never a good thing in a sport like this (Hockey, too). Leicester is a far cry from the 2015-16 team that shocked the World and won the Premier League at odds of up to 5000-1. They are a schizoid team that is as dependable as a $3 Rolex watch. But if they come to play here, they are far superior to Cardiff. There will no doubt be a pre-game "Moment of Silence" to honor the Owner and I think that will put a damper on the rabid Cardiff fans and also stimulate Leicester. In this game Leicester will either smoke 'em or get smoked. Knowing who they are playing and if I am right that they are coming to play and win one for the Owner - they should easily win. Arsenal/Liverpool play the Marquee match of the day, but that game is at 10:30 - or after this one. Looking at all of the 8A games, this is the one that will draw all media attention on it and the players know this and will make sure all watching see their best effort of the season. I'll say Leicester wins 2-1 but a very comfy 2-1 and not a nailbiter kind of game.
