ChiTownJoe will try to repeat his feat of hitting a $36,000 Pick 5 at our first-ever Day at the Races in 2014.

2W2P2S will be our featured guest next month in the racing edition of EOG's Grand Challenge.

Last year, he provided us a few winners for the event and I'm hoping he feels generous again this year.

EOG contributor NEVERAGAIN is treating our Arlington crew to the first two rounds.

Incredibly generous.

Now will anyone step up and finance our four-figure Group Pick 6 ticket?

:yay

But seriously, any well-researched selections would be greatly appreciated.

Submit the recommended plays in this thread.

And if you can't make this year's Day at the Races, think about next year's event on the first Saturday in August at Arlington Park.

MAILMAN GARY is once again shipping in from Wisconsin to join us.

He'll provide lunch with his delicious homemade ham and cheese sandwiches.

Looking forward to a great time at EOG day at the races this Saturday. Derby time was fun at Sam Town this year as made a deposit to local credit union when got back, but just looked at account balance as of today and it's now below what it started when I was in Vegas for Derby this May. It goes from right pocket to left pocket then to tellers at track. In a little slump but do for a good hit again. You only go around once. Hope to see a good turn out this Saturday! Mailman GARY

Jones Ham sandwiches will be made up Friday night with good Wisky cheese.

JK are u planning one of the Race Days at Del Mar?

Biff41, I'll be at Del Mar for closing day of the summer meet on Monday, September 3.

No organized event but if you'd like to join me, you're more than welcome.

Chop chop yesterday with your two plays.

The Pats were a solid selection but the Blue Jays disappointed on a rainy night in Kansas City.

First pitch was delayed 2 hours and 14 minutes.

Opening race at Monmouth Park was won by #7 Strawberry Red at odds of 10/1.

Here's something you don't see every day: The horse was ridden by its trainer, Luis Rivera, Jr.

We expect a full report.

Fifty Cint was under the weather and could not make it....I went anyway and checked out the sportsbook and restaurant....over 30 TVs in the bar with good food...plenty of windows open right outside the bar and a couple walk up places to wager inside...I believe they will do extremely well with a great handle....lost money on the nags but had a good time anyway...
