and Sean Hannity are the two most popular rightwing talk hosts in America, defining for millions the definition of the term ?conservative.? Lately,
Hannity takes a very different view, stating, ?You can?t deny that George Bush was conservative on national security issues.? Yet,
does deny this, quite regularly. Who?s right? Better yet, who?s ?conservative??
That depends on your definition. The notion of ?making the world safe for democracy? is unquestionably a liberal or ?progressive? sentiment, but it is also true that it has been standard foreign policy for the mainstream Right for sometime. Self-described conservatives have associated endless military intervention with American ?toughness? and viewed those who questioned the government?s wisdom in waging war as ?weak? or ?anti-American.? This has certainly been the view of Limbaugh and Hannity and for most of Bush?s eight years, it was also the view of
a term most mainstream right-wingers are either ignorant of, embarrassed of, or don?t use because the wholesale takeover of the conservative movement by the neocons has made using the ?neo? prefix unnecessary.
(and where they can wage it). Says contributing editor to The Weekly Standard, neocon Max Boot: ?Neoconservatives believe in using American might to promote American ideals abroad,? a progressive, Wilsonian vision, if there ever was one. As for traditional conservative concerns like limited government, fiscal responsibility and constitutional fidelity, these are ideas neoconservatives will occasionally pay lip service to, so long as none of these principles interferes with their more important task of global military domination...

Beck uses the term ?progressive? to fool ?rightwing? idiots into supporting the Republican party, while Beck pretends to hate both parties but endlessly shills for one. Progressives or ?liberals? TODAY are usually against most wars, while self described ?conservatives? like Beck and his ilk are all for them. These
labels have been misused and bastardized on purpose by the media and elites in general to divide us all into neat little camps that they can manipulate. People like Glenn Beck are at the forefront of the media/elites attempt to dumb us down and lead us in the wrong directions. Whats scary is how many morons are falling for Becks neocon siren song. No excuse for such naivety.

Its also f---ed how
neocons have hacked the ?tea party? to pull real constitutionalists, who would otherwise not fall for the left/right paradigm, towards right wing candidates who talk a big game about ?freedom? and ?liberty? but once the repulic---s are back in town it will be business as usual, mainly f---ing people from the opposite end as they were previously f---ed from. I hate hearing them talk about these things when the only reason for it is because they are a minority but when they are majority they light thier f---ing cigars with the Constitution. People dont want real change, they want to take sides.

If the Campaign for Liberty guys are so against people misusing and mis-labeling the term ?conservative? why do they insist on doing the same with the terms ?liberal? and ?progressive?? I cant tell you
how many articles from this group ive seen that completely play into the phony left/right narrative. This one is slightly better but still.

> ?If the Campaign for Liberty guys are so against people misusing and mis-labeling the term ?conservative? why do they insist on doing the same with the terms ?liberal? and ?progressive???
Because the so-called Campaign for ?Liberty? is nothing more than an Austrian School front group, and ? just as neocons are allowed to function as the self-appointed Thought Police and intellectual gatekeepers for the Republican Party ? Austrian School cultists are allowed to function as the self-appointed Thought Police and intellectual gatekeepers for the anti-NWO/pro-liberty movement.
As far as they?re concerned, if you don?t worship at the feet of Ludwig von Mises and Murray Rothbard, then you are, by definition, either a Marxist or quasi-Marxist, and hence a sworn enemy of ?liberty.?
Left-vs.-Right is clearly not the ONLY ?false paradigm? into which countless people have sheepishly allowed their minds to become literally enslaved:

While Hannity and Limbaugh are obvious to most as shills,
many people who should know better still fall for Becks BS, so lets do a quick list:
Beck supports Israel unconditionally. RED FLAG.
Beck supports all war unconditionally. RED FLAG.
Beck supports the Patriot act, military commissions act and other unconstitutional measures in the name of fear. RED FLAG.
Beck falls for every lie the Gov pushes about the ?war on terror? and has openly attacked 9/11 truth activists, as well as Ron Paul supporters and other genuine patriots numerous times(he of course has since tried to co-opt the Paul movement after helping the MSM sink his candidacy when it mattered most). RED FLAG.
Beck supported the first and worst bailout-TARP. RED FLAG.
Beck ran defense for BushCos every war crime, that is when he wasn?t ignoring them. RED FLAG.
I could go on and on, but suffice to say if you are dumb enough to fall for Becks phony patriotism and attempted co-opting of legit causes(he had the nerve to cal himself a ?libertarian? once-what a joke) you should be ashamed of yourself.
Glenn Beck could not be a more obvious neocon tool.

beck is nothing more than a guy who panders to an audience. its that simple.
if what he does did not pay but having a show about blueberries and bananas did, he would blab all day about fruit. to put it simply: he knows what side his bread is buttered on...

Beck supports empty headed corporate owned neocons like Palin and Brown and tries to prop them up. He openly supported most of Bushs worst policies. There is no excuse to watch Beck except to laugh at his ignorance. He has the same basic effect as Hannity and that is to prop up the right hand of the elite or the Republican party.
its a game, a sideshow, and he is not ?opposing? anything, he in fact supports the elite/establishments worst policies and actions. Many sheeple fall for his schtick though, I?ll give him that.

Why do these people always direct attention to who is on what side?? I mean, I don?t see life that way I guess, none of this left or right, libertarian or conservative . I mean when are we going to break past these superficial ever gray floating binds, and just be AMERICANS? I think deep inside most people share a lot of common views, I don?t want my family to starve or lose there house, and I feel the same way for my neighbor as well, and for that matter the entire country, or the world. So what can we do to keep that from happening.. why wont we just think about that? Before picking the team I think we should take care of the field we are playing it on first? just a thought.

I should have been more clear.. I know that glen beck helps lead the hopeless sheep to there slaughter. But
why do we fall for it so easily?? Why do people surround there lives around these systems?? I guess I?m just asking for someone that has had a past in this manipulation to explain the psyche behind it?.
