It's Final Four Friday.

Villanova is about to take the court for its 50-minute practice session at the Alamadome.

I'll file a full report complete with some amateur photos later today.

Re: Greetings from San Antonio

Loyola-Chicago, Michigan and Kansas preceded Villanova's arrival.

As expected, Michigan and Kansas have large followings.

Seems like the local fans have adopted Sister Jean and the Ramblers.

Eager to see Villanova's Jalen Brunson take the court.

He's one of my favorite college hoopsters.

The last time San Antonio hosted the Final Four (2008) KU cut down the nets.

KU's Devonte Graham just nailed a half-court shot to end his team's practice session.

Re: Greetings from San Antonio

JK, you have a wonderful travel budget. Enjoy the River Walk.

Currently playing the races at Retama Park.

No live racing here in Selma, Texas but the simulcast product is decent.

However, I'm not bullish on the future of racing at Retama after hearing one horseplayer mutter, "They'll be lucky if they're racing here a year from today."

Next stop: Lone Star Park.

Re: Greetings from San Antonio

Jalen Brunson is almost a carbon copy of Daddy Rick only better. He was supposed to go to Temple but switched to Nova. Cost Fran Dunphy his job. Dunphy will be out in 1 more season in favor of Aaron McKee. Temple alums seem to want Dunphy out now and a national search for his replacement.

Daddy Rick was accused of some awful things. Jalen had to endure some harmful taunts and character attacks his Senior year at Stevenson H. S. In Lincolnshire, il. Home of the Catchings sisters and for you tennis fans, home of the Jaeger sisters. Andrea and Susy.

Everyone liked Chris Evert or Tracy Austin.

I preferred Andrea Jaegar.

Too bad she played for the other team.

Re: Greetings from San Antonio

Are you there for games this weekend?

Not my style.

Parking and admission were free today.

One of the great values in sports.

I'll have a better seat tomorrow in front of a television.

Harvey Catchings was the man. Good rebounder and defender, but couldn't shoot a lick.

Geez JK, Andrea Jaeger was pretty much jailbait her entire career, think she was done around age 21.

Was kinda toothy as well.

I liked Carling Bassett

Like every guy out there - I wanted to do all sorts of unmentionable things to Gaby Sabatini............there are rumors she played for the other team and this sorta confirms it - sadly: http://www.answers.com/Q/Is_Gabriela_Sabatini_married - Too Bad cuz seeing how she looked on late 2015 when she was 45 - she is still every bit as HOT as she has ever been. She is still someone you just wanna "read with" until you die from exhaustion: https://www.limmattalerzeitung.ch/l...tini-wohnt-jetzt-am-zuerichsee-ufer-128810628

Do seats free up big time now? Kansas and Loyola people probably all went home or will not go to the final game?

Not sure.

Left San Antonio after Final Four Friday.

I split the two games.

I needed Loyola-Chicago's underdog story to continue.

Bet against Kansas with a Villanova team loaded with basketball players who are two-way players.

Good to see Jalen Brunson and especially Omari Spellman up close.

They put a lot of time in the weight room.

Spellman's thighs are Rodman-like.

Hehe.

I was jailbait too.

After all, she's 52 now.

Re: Greetings from San Antonio

Growing up in the Chicagoland area, I remember watching the Ramblers play in the early 1980's.

Loyola-Chicago was led by scoring sensation Alfredrick Hughes, who played only one season in the NBA with the San Antonio Spurs.

As a collegian, Hughes was one of the biggest gunners ever, averaging more than 27 points per game during his junior year while handing out only 17 assists the entire season.

One segment of the college hoop industry noticeably absent at the Final Four this year: AAU coaches and street agents.
