Some measure winning by biggest tournament, last win, a championship, etc..
To me, the best target is sound money management. You can find stories of guys winning bracelets or big tournaments only to give it back in short work at cash games. Beating losing is done first by facing the facts. Are you a regular depositor? If so, set a limit and stick to it. If you can't absorb the blows, you probably should not have started in the first place so don't make matters worse by prolonging the problem. If you bet 10% of your stack, and are a good player, you can pull proceeds and/or play a long time on what you have.

I heard you stay sitting at a game if you keep winning no matter how much that a$$ hurts. There aren't enough days like that.
On losing days, you leave when you lost the bankroll for that day. Don't go writing another check for more money.
