Arch, have you ever played TPC Southwind in Memphis, where they have the FedEx St. Jude?

I'm up there next week, and looking to get on. My club pro called up there a couple days ago and hasn't heard back, which is odd. I understand TPC courses are not private equity exactly, and was wondering if you had any experience getting on private TPC courses as a non-member.

The TPC courses are dying for new members.... Show any hint of interest in joining and I'm pretty sure they'll let you play at least a round, and prolly roll out the red carpet for you while you're there.

Im surprised on the no call back then. Daily guest rate has to be around 150 or 200.

Looked into it a bit more and none of the promos they've been throwing around have Southwind listed. Possible that that course is doing better than most, but not sure....

After playing sawgrass and Deere run I have been getting bombarded with reduced membership, discounted rounds, etc. from dozens of courses in the TPC network both public and private.

I'm surprised as well that there was no call back, it's not like the TPC tracks are like Augusta or anything.

Archiebitch, I challenge you to a round of golf.

$500, match play, 18 holes, you and me. course has to have a slope rating of at least 130. I will be in Las Vegas at least once this summer and possibly 2-3 times. If you happen to come to LA this summer we can play here. Whichever one of us is the visitor is entitled to one (1) practice round at the agreed upon course if he so wishes (If the match takes place in LV I will require this, as I have never played golf in Las Vegas). My prediction is that I will beat you at least 4&3.

We dont even need to tell each other our real names. Ill go by Henry and you'll go by Archie.
