Hmmm...

The Royals in the summer of 2015 had three: Kelvin Herrerra, Wade Davis and Greg Hollland.

How about the "Nasty Boys" from back in the day?

I remember the Yanks' bullpen in the late 90's when John Wetteland was the team's closer and a young Mariano Rivera would cover the seventh and eighth innings.

They also had lefty/righty specialists Graham Lloyd/Jeff Nelson

I like playing UNDERS in games involving home teams with dominant bullpens.

Many times, the game turns into a six or seven-inning contest.

I remember playing UNDER at Yankee Stadium in the late 1990's.

The problem with that strategy, at times, was New York's prolific offense and the park's hitter-friendly environment.

Chapman with knee issue again last night

I was watching him pitch last night, he threw 6 pitches, none above 95, he didn't seem himself, then he motions to the dugout for the trainer, not good

It's time to re-evaluate Milwaukee's bullpen. They have had some problems post All-Star break.

Have they ever.

But how good was Josh Hader in the first half of the season?

After Hader changed his workout routine (Hmmm....), his fastball velocity improved from 88 mph to 95 mph.

The 1980 Chicago Cubs finished last in the NL East with a dismal 68-94 record, but what a bullpen! Not all were having their best seasons this year; indeed, some were having their worst. Check out this lineup:

1. HoF Bruce Sutter 300 career saves
2. Possible future HOF Lee Arthur Smith 478 saves
3. MVP Willie Hernandez 147 saves
4. Dick Tidrow 55 saves
5. Bruce Caudill 106 saves

Oh, that bullpen! Probably the only pen a manager can feel comfortable with the starter going only 4.
