Score another one for the Tea Party, and Rand Paul may well have delivered the acceptance speech of the night. Courtesy of our own Greg Hengler, who clips this from MSNBC, Paul delivers the message that the faithful in the movement longed to hear tonight. He tells his supporters that American exceptionalism is not inherent from geography but only applies to the extent that we “embraced freedom,” Paul promises that he will ensure a return to self-governance and a focus on the individual over the State:
