I feel sorry for anyone who thinks ANY news station is unbiased. People understand that when they watch the news, they're watching propaganda. No one reports the news anymore. It's all just the agenda of whoever owns the network. The irony is that the elites invent ridiculous issues to divide the middle class over, and too many people buy into that. The extreme right (mostly the religious nuts) are horrible. So are the extremists on the left.
People choose to watch whichever channel conforms to their preset beliefs. I choose not to believe either side. I do not like Donald Trump fundamentally. But I do like being able to feel like I belong in a country that I've fought to protect.

Agree but the problem is those who watch treat it like Gospel - yet they rag on CNN/MSNBC and every other network that doesn't suck Der Fuhrer's 1" dick - like Faux does. Fearless Leader has done a BRILLIANY job of brainwashing his Brain Dead, Brainless MAGAts - just like Dictators do. If it doesn't come from the mouth of him, his Admin or Faux - IT IS FAKE NEWS! The definition of Fake News to them is: ANYTHING that makes him look bad.......even though it is 100% true. I have no idea how someone who has accomplished so little and has spent the better part of 5+ decades FUCKING OVER everyone can be seen as someone "Sent by God" and so great. Besides Obama's stock markets doing 100% better, Trump has created both record deficit and debt. Pollution of air and water ways has been increasing for the first time in 8 years. Tensions in the middle east are higher than they've been in over 6 years. The future not looking bright. Thank you Benedict Donald.

I don't know Winky, saying the 2008-2009 recession wasn't very bad is quite a statement. I agree a recession is probably coming no matter who is in the White House, the person or party sitting in there rarely makes any difference.

In the last 25 years guess which 2 presidents had the stock markets that grew the most? That would be the 8 years of Clinton and the 8 years of Obama. The media doesn't report this. As a matter of fact many people vote RepubliCON because they believe the false propaganda that markets will perform better under a RepubliCON president. Maybe. But the Tariffs and #GOPTaxBillScam will make it far worse than it could have been. The last one was not great but it wasn't as bad as it could have been because Obama did something about it. NO WAY Der Fuhrer does anything about it because he will deny it is taking place if in office and if he is not in office (one can only hope) he, his MAGAts and Faux News will SAVAGELY rip the POTUS and put 100% of the blame on him - something he does all of the time. Something is a success? I did it. Something fails? We had nothing to do with it. And for some reason people buy it. He is a crook. A cheat. A dishonest person. Hey I don't disagree with you, but if you act like that last recession wasn't so bad when so many people lost their houses, life savings and jobs because of it you don't win favors by trying to qualify it as it could have been worse. If a Dem ran on the platform we kept the recession from being worse than it could have would they have a chance in hell of winning?

I never said it wasn't bad. I said it wasn't as bad as it could have been if Obama did not do all of the bailout he did. I stand by that. On a 1-100 scale with 100 being the worst it was around a 90 but it would have been 100 if Obama didn't step in and do something. If Jackass gets a 2nd term you will see a major difference because he won't do much because that is the type of person he is and always will be

Realized it for some time now. As we see in this thread and as we saw on Nov 8. 2016 - one can NEVER underestimate the (lack of) intelligence in the American people. We have 63M "people" who vote for a person who openly supports taking away a lot of rights and benefits they have enjoyed over the years. Jackass has openly stated IF he gets re-elected and IF the House/Senate are Red (they won't be - if anything more are likely to be Blue than Red) he will MASSIVELY cut funding to Medicare/Medicaid and Social Security. If that alone doesn't get people to NOT vote for him I don't know what will yet his support is still high. I just don't understand how people can vote for someone WHO DOES NOT GIVE A FUCK ABOUT THEM and if anyone wants to fuck them over time after time after time after time - yet they STILL support him despite the fact there really cannot be any disputing the FACT he is Mentally Unstable and is suffering from early onset Dementia or something similar. When is the last time he uttered a complete sentence?
