The sports books at The Stratosphere, Arizona Charlie's Decatur, Arizona Charlie's Boulder and Aquarius in Laughlin are being outsourced to William Hill.

Switch to take place by year's end.

Meetings with employees at the various properties are taking place today.

WillHill dominating the betting marketplace right now.

With CG Tech on its last leg, it's becoming clear which company won the battle and the war.

So it looks like the whole stretch of the Riverwalk will be William Hill.....that's their market, walk-in tourist betting 3-teamers. One thing about Cantor, they spent money to upgrade a book. William Hill does very little unless you think Primm is a upgrade.

This is a loss; one of a string. More threatening is that if the WH model seems successful, others will emulate it. I give credit to other shops in Vegas for booking old school, or maybe I should say the American way. this is why it's important that booting winners be made nationally illegal.

Hopefully the Michigan bill passes and one will only need 200k to get a sportsbook license.
If i were guessing i would say in 3 years the best sportsbetting options will be in a state other than Nevada.

DraftKings hired John Avello from Wynn Las Vegas and Ed Malinowski from The Stratosphere this past week.

Avello is 65 and Malinowski is 45.

I saw both men at Del Mar's closing day last month but Ed said there were no discussions at that time about a move to DK.
